Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet delivers improved horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency with a mild exterior exhaust tone. It is designed for use on trucks, SUVs, motorhomes, tow vehicles, and high-performance street cars where space permits, providing enhanced sound control along with performance benefits.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for durability, this muffler features an enlarged case utilizing Delta Flow® technology. Its high-temperature black paint finish protects against corrosion and adds a sleek appearance while minimizing interior resonance for a comfortable ride.
Installation. Installation requires some adaptation as this is a universal fit muffler; new hangers are needed but not included. Slip-fit inlet and outlet connections allow for clamp-on or weld-on mounting with no drilling typically required, making installation straightforward for those with mechanical experience.
Application. Designed as a universal fit muffler, some adaptation may be necessary to accommodate various vehicles, and OEM exhaust adapters may be required for proper fitment.
