Description
Performance Chambered Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with a 3-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlets delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust note while maintaining excellent performance for high horsepower vehicles. It is designed to enhance engine sound with low interior resonance, ideal for street and strip applications.
Construction and Appearance. Built from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features full MIG welds for enhanced durability and a high-temperature paint finish, providing a sleek black appearance. It utilizes Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology within a larger case profile for an optimal balance of sound and performance.
Installation. The muffler offers slip-fit inlet and outlet connections for a straightforward installation, with both clamp-on and weld-on inlet options available. Installation requires new hangers which are not included, and some adaptation may be necessary due to its universal fitment.
Application. Designed for universal use, this muffler fits a range of 4 and 6 cylinder engines as well as classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip, and truck/SUV vehicles. Some adaptation may be required to ensure proper fitment.
