On the S550 chassis, the rear rotors are frequently engaged by electronic stability control and torque-vectoring systems, leading to localized heat-soak and warping. These rotors undergo a proprietary 60-hour cryogenic treatment, cooling the iron to -300°F to permanently refine its molecular structure, making them nearly immune to the heat spots and pedal pulsation common in untreated factory rotors.
Molecularly Enhanced G3000 Metallurgy. This deep-freeze process transforms the internal grain of the G3000 gray iron, converting softer austenite into dense, stable martensite. For the EcoBoost or V6 owner, this translates to a rotor with superior dimensional stability and a service life that is up to 200–300% longer than standard replacements. By increasing the iron's thermal conductivity, Frozen Rotors dissipate heat more efficiently, ensuring your rear brakes remain consistent and true even during repeated high-speed deceleration or spirited canyon driving.
