        Hi. I just want to be sure and I did not see this particular question asked about fitment. Is this yoke the same length and dimensions and will it fit the stock T5 installed in a 1986 Ford Mustang SVO which has the 2.3L SOHC Turbo engine? Thanks.!

        • The Ford Performance Driveshaft Yoke will not fit your 2003 Automatic V6 Mustang. It will only work with Manual V6 Mustangs with the T5 Transmission.

            Slip yoke

            My in my mustang is bad it does a whole lot of vibration and 5th gear so I purchased a slip yoke LMR now I put it on and perfect fit no vibration no shaking everything is good thanks. LMR.....

            driveshaft yolk

            the product was fine but I was dissappointed that your sales re p was not familiar with the universal joint required to mate the larger yolk with the stock driveshaft. I ended up shopping elsewhere for the proper u joint when your company has it in stock.

            Great quaility

            The tail shaft of my transmission had begun to leak and after replacing the seal 2-3 times someone recommended it change the yoke. I couldn't find a new one locally without having to place a special order at over 2x the price of American Muscle. I went ahead and ordered it and it was a perfect fit and solved my leaky transmission issue.

            Twisted yoke

            The yolk does not fit the standard u joint you need to purchase the special u joint to connect driveshaft to the yoke on 85 Mustang

            F.P. 28 spline driveshaft yoke

            I have a 1988 fox body. Perfect fit. Very easy install on a 88 auto driveshaft in a t5 transmission with a $15 353 precision u-joint from O'Reilly.

            Doesn't fit a 3.8

            Didn't fit my 3.8 5 speed Mustang. My car has a balancer on the yoke and this part doesn't come with on. Also it was a inch short. American Muscle paid for the return and full reimbursement of the part.

            Great Replacement

            Goes on easy and fits like a glove, connected to new u-joint with out and trouble, and there no leaks coming from the tail end of the transmission

            I bought this new yoke because the teeth in the old one had twisted from the engine torque. I haven't been on the track since the install but the install was easy.

            AOD e swap

            My C4 yoke fit my AOD e but was a 1/2" shorter than the stock 94 aod e yoke .Replaced it with a American Muscle yoke and my vibration was gone! good quality and fast shipping.Now I'm off to Bonneville for the world finals towing my camper in my 50 ford coupe!

            does the job

            Stopped my leaking transmission tailshaft problem. Was a considerably amount shorter than the stock unit but did not affect driveability. I have had 15 hard launches with drag radials without an incident.

            Solid Piece!

            My stocker was worn out. Too much play and a vibration. This FR yolk cured all. Heavy duty, solid piece. Easy install back on the road. You can't go wrong with buying this one. And as always great American Muscle service!
