    SVT Modular Rocker Arms. Used as original equipment on the supercharged Ford GT 5.4L engine these Modular Rocker Arm followers are the lightest and strongest available. Four grams lighter than stock, these rocker arms are stiffer and provide better engagement on lash adjusters over the factory 4.6L DOHC rocker arms.

    Please Note. Mustangs equipped with a DOHC engine will require a set of 32 rocker arms.

    I have the 1998 4.6 DOHC 32v motor, is it safe to change only one side of the motor with these followers, or would I need to do both sides? Have noise coming from the passenger side, and none from the driver's side.

    • It would be ideal to replace all of the rocker arms to ensure they all of them on the same life cycle. Even if just the driver/passenger side individually isn't rattling or causing issues currently it could be something you would need to address in the future - thus saving you time and effort down the road.

    I am doing a pi head swap on a 96 gt. I can't find the lifters that will work on pi heads? Do you sell them? Thanks

    I'm putting stage 3 comp cams in my 98 gt with 01 mustang heads. Will these work?

    • Hey Blue! These are designed to work with the 2 valve heads as well as the 4 valve. So you should have no problem installing these rocker arms

    As an upgrade, will these fit the Trick Flow 2 valve heads? 1 answer
    The original rockers have a 1/8" hold at the push rod end. I bought an upgrade set like these and there was no hole. All I got was tappet noise. Were they the wrong rockers or is there an adjustment? Do these have 1/8" holes? Can't tell by the pics. 1 answer

      Excellent piece for the money

      While you're doing your valve train, it's pointless to not upgrade to the GT500 followers. Stiffer design, better oil pressure. Doing these on my new built motor.

      Very High Quality

      As with all Ford Racing Products, 5 stars all the way. Very important to know, they help to increase oil pressure to the cam journals. That is very important and worth the $$. I did this as a complete engine but to just these would not be worthy install on its own.

      Looks good

      The design of these look a lot different from factory. I haven't installed them yet because they are part of a rebuild. I would have thought the packaging would have been more than just 16 pcs tossed into a zip lock bag. Overall I am happy with them.

      A Nice Improvement Over Stock

      I got a set of these Ford Racing Followers when I installed a cam and hand my PI heads ported. From a quick visual inspection it was apparent that they are superior to the stock followers. They weigh less, have a more robust roller and the part of the follower that fits over the valve stem has an upgraded design. it is slightly longer than the stock follower and has two guides that straddle the valve stem. That should be a nice benefit at high RMP as it will help to keep valve train motion regular. If you plan on digging into your valve train for any reason, this is a very nice upgrade to make while you are at it. One thing to keep in mind when you install... If you plan to swap out your old followers with these Ford Racing Followers, the "screwdriver pry-in" method that some brave souls use on 2V modular engines wont work. The added length of these followers makes that type of improvised installation impossible. You'll need to buy the spring compressor tool. Trick Flow makes a nice one. Their part number is TFS-90518

      Great way to help maintain oil pressure in high rpm's

      My engine had oil pressure problems at 6000 Rpm so after in- stalling these there is no oil issues. The pressure is good at 7000 rpm . A better more stable valvetrain . if you are rebuilding an engine for high hp you need these, your engine needs these.

      The reason I have purchased these products is because they are made by Ford. Also they seem to be a great upgrade over the stock 2v rockers. Compared to any aftermarket setup they offer a great price/performance ratio.

      Squeezing out every last HP from a modular engine?

      If you are looking for maximum power from your 4.6 or 5.4 engine, these rockers are great light weight replacements for the stock pieces. Some people have found replacing stock rockers with these to be worth about 5 horsepower above 6,500 RPMs. I had these installed in some ported and polished heads while replacing the cams and I can't wait to see the high end horse power gains from them.
