HIGH-FLOW PERFORMANCE. The Ford Performance 90mm Throttle Body is engineered to increase airflow into the engine, improving throttle response and horsepower. It replaces the stock 80mm throttle body with a larger diameter unit, enhancing engine breathing for performance upgrades. This throttle body significantly improves driving dynamics, especially in modified or high-performance applications.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Manufactured from precision billet aluminum with a polished finish, it features a tapered inlet design to ensure consistent high flow. The CNC’d Ford Racing logo adds a distinctive look, while the robust construction ensures long-lasting reliability under demanding conditions.

INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for those experienced in performance upgrades and requires no drilling. Proper calibration is essential after installation to achieve optimal performance. The throttle body includes all factory sensors pre-installed, eliminating the need to dismantle the original unit. Use of a 4-inch ID silicone hose adapter or reducer is necessary due to the increased throttle body diameter. Removing the molded rubber throttle body hose is required when using the factory 3.5-inch air inlet tube.

APPLICATION. This throttle body is designed for 2011-2014 Mustang GT and 2012-2013 Boss 302 vehicles equipped with the stock 80mm throttle body. It is not compatible with the 2015 Mustang GT to ensure proper fit and function.

Technical Note. 90mm bore throttle bodies work great on heavily modified or force inducted GT mustangs. Stock or mildly modified GT's do not flow air enough to benefit from this larger Throttle Body.
