What are the torque specs for the front lines? The service manual says 41 ft/lbs, while the 4-piston Brembo M-2300-S kit instructions say 14 - 18 ft/lbs.

    • I would follow what the Ford Service Manual is stating at 41 ft/lbs.

Are they only for the Brembo package? Can these FRPP BOSS 302 brake lines work with the GT500 14'' front brake kit on my 2012 5.0?

    • The fitment guide states that these lines will fit your car because it is a GT within the year range, and because it has the GT500 kit from within the year range. Either way, you are safe.

      BOSS 302 Brake Line Upgrade

I got these brake lines to replace my 100K mile stock lines when converting to Brembo 4 pots on my '07 GT. I'm not a fan of braided steel lines that are installed in an application where they move and get flexed. I've seen them begin fraying at the ferrule and I wasn't wanting to deal with that, so I went with the Boss 302 brake lines. I figured if it was good enough for the Boss 302's then it would be plenty for my GT. They fit perfectly and even had factory style plastic clamps to hold them in place. The improved lines give a better pedal feel although that could also be a part of the better brakes as well.

      same old

They look and brake like OEM GT brake lines didn't feel any difference in brake performance.

      Just installed

Incredible quality and fit straight from Ford Racing. These are an exact replacement. Fit is a 10/10. I was upgrading calipers and rotors, this is a must do at the same time. Incremental effort is trivial, maybe 5 minutes per corner.

      Better Brakes

Installing the Boss 302 brake lines was a terrific upgrade to my Mustang. The brake pedal's firmer and feels more responsive. Installation was easy and simple with a bleed bottle and a friend to press on the pedal. I did the lines in sequence: left rear/right rear/ left front/right front. I bled each brake when done installing each one. Worked out great. Only had to jack-up one wheel at a time with a small hydraulic jack and jack stand for safety.

      Ford Racing brake lines

Ordered these brake lines and the line lock kit. Did not notice any brake feel however, Good to know I have new brake lines to support aggressive driving.

      Good Upgrade

The brake pedal feels more firm. Great upgrade over stock. I chose to go with these brake lines over other brands because this is a Ford Racing Product used on a Boss 302. I installed these along with powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and pads.

      Perfect fit and performance!

Took 30mins to install and bleed brakes. These went right in where the oem were no modifications. Performance is great. Braking is very tight and instant!

Ford Racing BOSS 302 Brake Line Upgrade

My wife and I replaced the poorly fitted braided SS lines on her '07 Shelby GT with the BOSS 302 lines from Ford Racing. I'm confident we won't have any rubbing or chafing issues with the BOSS lines. The fit is perfect, banjo bolts and copper washers are pre-fitted and the install and bleed was done in under two hours, excluding the time to lift the car. The pedal feel is very good compared to the SS lines that cost twice as much. Ford Racing does not supply any instructions so I contacted Ford Racing for the 41 ft-lb. banjo bolt torque spec. Overall we are very pleased.

      Better brake feel

Bleeding the stang afterwords prooved to be somewhat futile. Took the stang to a local shop with a bleed bench. Brake pedal feel was at the tip top, when matched to my brembo upgrades. Car stops like a champ now.

Great quality and OEM exact fit

Replaced my stock brake lines when I switched out my calipers on my 2006GT. Better quality than OEM and perfect fit. I gave the stopping power a "good" since I can't contribute the lines providing "excellent" stopping power by themselves. Price was a consideration in buying these also.

      A good deal

For around $90 bucks you get all four lines with fittings. I went with low expansion rubber Boss lines because the price was good, and the overall feel is stronger braking with less effort at the peddle.

Ford Racing Boss 302 Brake Lines

A brake job on my 2011 Brembo GT came a little quicker than i had anticipated, with only 28000 miles on the clock. Upgrading the brake lines was always in the plans since i love to track my car. At $89.XX shipped to your door you really cannot beat the price of these lines. I placed my order and a few days later these lines arrived at my door. After a quick inspection i was a little worried these lines wouldn’t perform much better than the lines that came on the car from the factory, since they look identical. But looks are deceiving, the lines are OEM so the fit and finish is perfect, and after installation i couldn’t be happier. The car has a very firm pedal, and doesn’t seem squishy under hard braking. it’s also a very predictable and unlike some vehicle with stainless line upgrades, there is a linear feel when changing brake pressures with your foot. Overall another great, affordable, OEM upgrade that can stand up to the needs of the weekend warrior, on the track or on the street. Paired with some HAWK HPS, GT500 heat shields, and a good fluid these brakes are transformed form good, to ripyourfaceof OU tstanding.

      Great Upgrade

The BOSS brake hose kit is an excellent and inexpensive alternative to stainless steel hoses. Made by FORD and should be good for many years. They fit perfectly and easily on my 2012 non-Brembo GT. HIGHLY recommended.
