Description
Shave Track Times with Better Brakes. Even a small boost in braking power can show in reduced track time. Installing Hawk Performance DTC-70 Brake Pads gives you a lot more than a small boost. These pads dramatically outperform stock pads when decelerating from high speeds. They aren't ideal for street use since they need to warm up before providing extreme stopping power, but on the race track they are an excellent choice.
Ferro-Carbon Semi-Metallic Construction. With a suggested operating temperature range of 400-1600 degrees, these semi-metallic brake pads help you slow and stop on demand. High-temperature operations means little to no brake fade, even after a full day at the track.
Racing Pad Dust. Every brake pad sheds a little dust during deceleration, but racing pads shed more. The DTC-70 is fairly low dust at low speeds, but when you're driving for speed, prepare for regular wheel clean-up, even with the DTC-70 pads.
Standard Installation. The DTC-70 front brake pads require about 2 hours for installation, but you only need tools you probably have on hand. These pads install on the existing hardware, and hand tools will get the job done.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. When properly registered, Hawk Performance protects all of its brake pads with a limited lifetime warranty. To find out more about possible limitations or actions that might void the warranty, please check the manufacturer's website.
