Bold Hurst Styling. Add the aggressive appearance of a track car to your 2015-2020 Fastback Mustang with this great looking Pre-Painted Hurst Pedestal Style Rear Spoiler. This Hurst Spoiler will not only enhance the styling of your S550 Mustang, but it will also enhance its aerodynamics as well.

Painted Here to Match 2015-2020 Factory Mustang Colors. This Hurst Rear Spoiler is painted right here, at AmericanMuscle headquarters in our state of the art paint booth. Utilizing the same base coat clear coat urethane paint Ford used on the exterior of your 2015-2020 Mustang, this Rear Wing Spoiler will match your stock color perfectly.

Superior Quality. Manufactured from blow molded acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material, this Hurst Pedestal Style Rear Spoiler was made using the original OEM CAD data from Ford to ensure a perfect fit. ABS is an extremely strong material known for its light-weight, superior durability and impact resistance. Unlike some other rear wing options on the market, this Hurst Spoiler won't chip or crack like fiberglass and will last for years to come.

Drilling Required. Even though the Hurst Rear Spoiler was designed to reuse some of the existing holes left in the deck lid by the stock wing (if so equipped), additional drilling will still be required for installation. This spoiler installs easily with a combination of hardware and 3M automotive bonding tape, a drilling template is included. Please note, if your Mustang was equipped with a Factory Rear Spoiler, there will be some holes still exposed after the installation of the Hurst Rear Spoiler.

Application. This Pre-Painted Hurst Rear Spoiler is designed to fit 2015-2020 Fastback Mustangs including the V6, EcoBoost, GT and Shelby GT350. Not intended for use on Convertibles as the Spoiler may come in contact with the factory antenna when the trunk is opened.

    • If you need to verify your paint code, look inside the door jam of your driver's side door at your VIN plate to find your exterior paint code.
    • This Rear Spoiler is also available in Matte Black for those who want a more aggressive look.

Are the spoiler mounts painted as well? And does it use the existing holes on the factory spoiler in addition to the new holes or do you need to plug the old ones

        • This spoiler will be fully painted. Unfortunately it will not cover all the holes left from the factory spoiler.

I got a 2017 Ecoboost mustang and it has a factory spoiler on it, I’m just wondering if this spoiler will fit without having to cover any holes? It looks like it will judging by the pattern of the spoiler and the pattern of the spoiler on my car hole wise right now. I was wanting to get the GT350R spoiler but that will leave 2 open holes in the middle. Can somebody help?

If I was to buy it in grabber blue, would the mounts come black? Some costumer photos support this, others don’t.

        • The mounting posts would come black rather than painted. Some customers have gone and gotten them painted locally to match the wing and car.

I almost bought this, but noticed all the posts about factory holes being left exposed. Does anyone have photos of this? Those who did purchase it, how did you handle the exposed holes? Com'on Hurst, it would be so easy to do this right!

        • While no images are available, the uncovered holes can be filled by any professional body/paint shop.

Does this spoiler wobble at high speed? Does it produce a lot of wind noise at high speed? Can you tell an improvement in downforce/high speed stability with the spoiler installed versus no spoiler or a Track Pack spoiler?

        • This spoiler is just for looks and has not been tested for downforce. The spoiler will not wobble or make any noise at high speeds.

4 2016 EcoBoost - DaveF Installation Time: Afternoon

Spoiler Alert From the driver seat it looks bigger

Color matched PQ - Race Red - perfectly; but the underside of the spoiler was not completely buffed, I spent an hour straightening and buffing the finish out. Installation instructions are basic; all screws and washers provided, there is double sided 3M tape to attach the pylons to the trunk lid. You will need 1/8, 1/4 and a 1" drill bits, you will have to drill two 1" holes for screw heads and washers to fit into the truck lid. I would loctite all screws upon install. I would add the following step... after drilling holes do not remove film on double stick tape to attach spoiler, use razor blade to cut film so it can be removed after screws are installed. Start all screws, only two to three threads only, lift spoiler from trunk lid with the bubble wrap used to ship spoiler. Use tweezers to peel film from double stick tape, once all film is removed press spoiler down and finish tightening screws. To prevent damage to trunk lid, tail lights or bumper caused from slamming replace stock trunk lift supports with 110 lbs rated lift supports Stabilus part number SG401063. The spoiler adds 28 lbs to the lip of the trunk lid, allowing the trunk to 'slam'.

            Very nice looking wing

The wing was was painted to match nicely the Finnish match is deadon. The drilling templates can use some improvments....this is a 45k car that I have to drill 8 holes in the rear decklid a better pattern would be great...but not hard to install and looks great...our s550 looked like a bird with no tail feathers until this wing was installed

Looks pleasing to the eye once installed

I was a bit hesitant on the spoiler when I first received it. Once it was finally installed after a gruesome work. Filling in the holes, sanding, and painting; it all came out just perfect.

            3 2017 GT - BentCopper

            Close but no cigar...

When I saw this spoiler my first impression was WOW!. It has a clean low profile but is still a wing. Also, it was one of the few pre-painted products that used the factory spoiler holes (Claimed). I ordered it immediately. Before I began the mounting process, I checked the claimed fitment one more time. Good thing I did. It turns out that it used only some of the factory mounting holes. The center two are left open. I see this as a major design failure. The wing's pedestals are SEPARATE PIECES! A very simple design change on only the center pedestals would allow this wing to correctly fit both cars with and without a factory spoiler. That design failure cuts their possible market in half. The fit and finish of the wing is outstanding. I really wish I could have used it. Instead, I had to return the wing. Are you listening Hurst?

So I bought the wing thinking it was going to be hit or miss. It was going to look really good or really bad. We installed it and the stock wing had two extra holes that showed so we plugged them and wrapped trunklid in black carbon fiber and the end result is amazing. Check out the pics it speaks for itself.

Great spoiler for a great price

This spoiler came very well packaged. I had it installed by a local body shop and they said it was very easy and straight forward. I am pleased with the quality of the spoiler and how good it makes the car look. It’s bigger than factory options but not too big that it looks ridiculous. It’s also great that it’s painted using Ford color codes so if you need to touch up the paint it won’t be hard to find.

            Better than expected.

It looks amazing. Good value for the price, very light weight. The support pillars do not come painted they come in matte black. My only complain would be the middle pillars do not flush correctly on the trunk lid if you didn't place them leveled with the spoiler 100 percent. I had to use silicone to seal the base.
