These JBA Long Tube headers will greatly improve your mustangs exhaust flow increasing your pony's horsepower, torque, and throttle response.

x-pipe I was wondering if these could work with the slp shorty x -pipe. considering diameter, collector, etc

  • With Long Tube Headers, you should purchase the matching brand shorty mid-pipe to ensure proper fitment. We have found that to be especially true for the SLP brand. Using an SLP shorty mid-pipe with these JBA Long Tubes may bolt up without issue, but there's a possibility some tweaking and minor modification to get a perfect fit would be required. I'd highly recommend combining these LT headers with the JBA shorty mid-pipe. Hope this helps to answer your question!

I was looking at the "in the box" section and it mentions 2 O2 sensors. But they look to me to be O2 extensions. So I am curious the facts,, If they are indeed extensions, this is an all parts inclusive upgrade? Just wanting some clarification, so I am not buying accessories I don't need, or buying this and actually needing something. Thanks in advance.

  • The JBA Natural Long Tube Headers come with o2 sensor extensions, and they do not come with the sensors themselves, we apologize for the inconvenience.

What are the collectors diameter? 2 1/2 or 3

  • The diameter of the JBA Natural Long Tube Headers (05-10 GT) is 2.5 inches.

Will these headers work with an auto transmission?

  • JBA does not mention anything about manual or automatic transmissions. So it should fit. You can always call JBA directly and ask them to be 100% sure. But their installation instructions do not mention anything about auto vs manual; so you should be good.

Are these headers loud with stock mufflers? Because I live in Switzerland, i have to use the stock mufflers on my mustang. I already bought this headers wit catted H-Pipe. I thought about selling them now because I'm afraid of getting caught by the Police. But I still would like them installed. Are they hearable with stock mufflers or not? Is there a noticeable power gain?

  • yes on the power gain and not really louder but a more deeper growl to your pony

    JBA is awesome!!!!

I got the JBA longtube headers put on with the matching off-road Hpipe. I already had the Borla Stingers on my car with the JLT intake and 93R tune from Bama. When I put these suckers on wow!!! My car turned into a monster. The sound just has to be heard in person, a word description doesn't justify how good it sounds. Plus Bama retuned my car for the headers and the performance gain in definitley noticeable. I love these headers. Don't spend all that money on Kooks when these look way better and perform just as well. I highly reccommend!!!

    JBA Natural Long tubes

Had the Ford motorsports dealer install these with Roush Catback and JBA catted H pipe. Sounds amazing!! The service tech loved these better than any other set he's installed and will be promoting these to my fellow buddys in my mustang club. They add a nice growl, and added more of an improvement in felt HP than anything I've done so far...worth the investment!! Also said they were easy to install (for a tech) unlike others that gave him a fit, tucks up nice under car, and pointed out parts of the flanges that were reinforced and other parts the other brands didn't include. Glad I didn't drop $1000 on name brands, these do the job and are great!!

    good sound

adds noticeable power and torque. Ive also noticed a bit of a gurgle at idle. it was a pain to install because thhings are in the way but all long tube headers will be like that, overall a great product and worth the money

Like a norse god gargling hammers!

I bought these headers because they were cheap. Little did I know that these when paired with an off road H pipe sound ridiculously amazing its almost unfair how great these sound. Also in a magazine I was reading these headers provide the best low end torque and horsepower out of all the leading brands. The high end torque is about less than the leading brand and only 4 top end horsepower short of the other leading brand and at about 3/4 of the price. If you love the classic sound of a monstrous V8 these headers are a must!

You must be certain that you purchase the 02 sensor extension. No one tells you that but you do. Also, make sure you follow the install directions and google JBA headers there\'s an article from 5.0 with pics. Difficult install if you don\'t have the tools. I can\'t stress enough theres limited space.

    Cant beat the price!

I decided to go with these headers because they are stainless steel. Love the sound, really loud. The car feels more peppy. They definitely turn heads. My only complaint is the fitment and installation. I installed these myself, but I would recommend a shop for anyone that has little to know mechanical experience. If you decide to get these make sure you also get the matching JBA shorty H pipe or catted.

    Puuurs, but LOUD???

I had these JBA Long Tube Headers installed with the Shorty non catted X- pipe on my 08 GT, and it made a HUGE improvement on how smooth my car runs. I honestly was expecting it to be MUCH louder according to all the reviews I read, than it turned out to be, but overall I'm pretty pleased. It starts to roar a little when you get on it, but remains pretty quiet at idle speed. Be prepared to see your engine light remain on if you go for the noncatted X-pipe combo, since the O2 wont be able to communicate with your cars computer.

I bought these headers with the O/R H-pipe and it sounds incredible! Better throttle response as well. This along with Magnapack mufflers and a custom tune and I am completely satisfied.

    JBA Long Tube Headers

I viewed videos on line for at least 6 months attempting to find a "sound" that I wanted. I also read blogs, reviews, expert advise, all in attempt to educate myself on the best product available. JBA Longtube headers have provided me with the sound that I have longed for my entire adult life. My car is as incredible sounding as I could have imagined. I was willing to attempt the install myself but local speed shop charged me $450 and they had it done in 4 hours with a garuntee of "no leaks" as well as implementing the required tune. Worth every penny. If your on the fence, I say buy buy buy!!!

    Awesome Headers!!

I installed these with the JBA Off-Road H Pipe, along with my Roush Off-Road Axle-back. Amazing sound, especially at wide open throttle! I would defiantly recommend these to a friend. I had a friend of mine who works at a shop to do the install for $100, got a couple quotes from shops that ranged from $200-$550. Amazing Product!

    Pretty Loud.

I bought these headers along with the shorty offroad h pipe, and a buddy of mine and me installed them, it was a pain, very limited space, but after all the hard work you start it up and are amazed by how bad@$$ it sounds. Definetly turns heads. also i have flowmaster 40's=bestmuffllers.

Excellent fitment. Like a glove! And even better sound!

These went in without a hitch. I originally purchased an ebay set of headers that did not fit on the passenger side at all. The JBA's were more expensive, but well worth the money. And still cheaper than the name brand competition. I went with the matching off road h pipe which fit well. I wish there were an X pipe option. Plan on about 6 hours for the install. It is not hard per se, just time consuming.

    Gains and amazing sound

The install was a pain for the shop. Took bout 12 hours but all n all the results were amazing. I feel the gains throughout the rpms and the sound is something else. I have roush axleback and it was pretty loud before but now it sounds like I have cams. The headers made my car exreamly loud but not in an anoying rice burner way. It sound like I have a sick muscle car

    Jba Long Tube Headers

These headers are descent quality and get the job done i can feel the difference in power I was able to install these without messing with the steering column by removing the motor mount from the engine block. Getting them to not leak was a task and the h-pipe I bought with them was complete junk these are descent but I recommend spending the money and getting the kooks instead

    High Quality

These headers are really nicely made, especially for the price. They have really thick flanges, and there's a bit of port work done just inside to smooth out the welds. They're really long, but they fit extremely well. The bolts come with locking washers, and a set of O2 extensions and gaskets are included. However, a second set of extensions is required. I got these installed with the JBA catted h-pipe, and I already had KR axle-backs. The car now has a really nice old school sound that kind of sounds like a big-block. It's not too loud at idle or low rpms, but at about 3500 or so, she gets pretty loud. I haven't had it dynoed but there's no doubt she's quicker, and the Bama tunes seem to be spot-on.

    Looks great and great sound.

I installed these headers and the jba catted shortys and the pypes bomb catbacks. All I can say is very very loud, used my Bama tune and it made my stang wake up. It will take awhile if you do it yourself, have to jack engine up and remove starter and part of the steering column and the oil dipstick and engine mounts, make sure to buy 2 packs of the o2 extention kits. Everyone looks at me when I put on the gas. Very loud compared to the stock system. I think the jba was a great decision. Great quility, didnt have any problems at all. I did buy new gaskets too, never trust the old ones.
