Description
Next Level Handling for the Street and Track. Provide your track-focused Mustang with next-level handling when you upgrade to the J&M Street/Race Rear Lower Control Arms in Red. These rear lower control arms combine OE specifications with a brawny tubular steel build. These factors translate to control arm assemblies that fit perfectly into your ride while providing significantly improved stiffness without being overly heavy. This improved stiffness helps give your vehicle more stable handling feel even when driven hard.
Combo Bushing System. These rear lower control arms also utilize a unique combo bushing system. Specifically, this system is composed of spherical chrome-moly bushings on the axle side and proprietary 3-piece polyurethane ball bushings on the chassis side. These specialized bushings offer superior traction by allowing the components to roll like ball bearings, particularly when cornering.
Brawny Build Quality. These rear lower control arms are built from premium steel tubes for exceptional durability while being relatively lightweight. Furthermore, these control arms are CNC-laser cut and formed before undergoing an advanced pulse welding procedure to enhance rigidity. The ball and spherical bearings for their part are constructed from high-quality polyurethane and heat-treated chrome-moly steel, respectively. Finally, these components are finished in a wear-resistant red powder coating, providing style and corrosion protection.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. These rear lower control arms are designed to install into factory locations as a replacement for your Mustang’s factory counterparts. No additional modifications to your vehicle are necessary although the included ball bushings will require assembly, greasing, and mounting into the control arms before installation. Please note that it’s recommended you use PTFE grease to lubricate the bushings.
Comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. These J&M Street/Race series rear lower control arms come with a limited lifetime warranty covering factory defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
