It’s hard not to take notice of AmericanMuscle customer Larry Dayton’s 2009 Bullitt. Featuring the exclusive Bullitt Highland Green, this car looks like a beast on the road and track. With a V8 engine comes the natural desire to want to hear it rumble and unleash its potential. Larry opted to install a Magnaflow 3-inch Competition Cat-Back Exhaust on his 2009 Bullitt, which lets out an unmistakable and aggressive muscle car sound. This system allows his car to enjoy more power by getting rid of the restrictive stock exhaust, resulting in increased horsepower and torque at the rear wheels. It does so through free-flowing, straight-through bullet style mufflers and mandrel-bent tubing. One of the top ways to increase your vehicle’s performance is to improve its overall airflow. For this reason, Larry decided to get the BBK Throttle Body. This throttle body features a generous, free-flowing 62mm twin bore design, increasing airflow and raising horsepower figures between 15-20 RWHP and 20-25 RWTQ. This direct fit throttle body also greatly enhances the overall throttle response of your car. It’s made from CNC machined premium quality aluminum and includes OEM die-stamped linkages, double sealed bearings, and o-ringed throttle shafts. Many Mustang enthusiasts agree the tail lights on the 2013 and 2014 models are a fan favorite. Larry certainly thinks so, which is why he installed a set of Raxiom Gen5 Tail Lights on his Bullitt. These tail lights include the favorable built-in sequential LED technology and smoked lenses to transform any 2005-2009 'Stang into a more modern one. When the turn signals or hazard lights are on, they will sequence from the center of the Mustang out and repeat until turned off. When the brakes are engaged, the tail lights will sequence through once and then stay lit during braking. The Raxiom Gen5 lights are DOT-compliant and include high-intensity LEDs, a huge improvement over standard incandescent bulbs.

Larry not only unleashed the potential of his Bullitt’s power range, but also its suspension. With the KONI Sport Adjustable Shock and Struts, he can tweak the compression and rebound with the twist of a knob. Simply turn clockwise to soften dampening or spin it counter clockwise for a stiffer ride. He can now take on twists and turns with more confidence and control than ever before. Sport series shocks and struts feature a gas pressurized twin-tube design with a larger diameter piston to provide optimal street performance. Created especially for sport-tuned vehicles, this kit allows the road racer to tailor the suspension to his or her needs.
