Increase Exhaust Flow. Ford did a decent job on their new catalytic converters, but the stock H-Pipe is pretty restrictive. That's where the MAC Performance After Cat Mid-Pipe comes into play. Featuring MAC's unique Chamber style crossover and free-flowing mandrel-bent piping, this Mid Pipe will dramatically improve exhaust flow for more power and sound.

Muscle Car Rumble. This free flowing MAC Performance Mid Pipe not only increases the horsepower and torque of your Mustang, but with its unique Pro Chamber cross over design it adds a distinctive muscle car rumble to the sound of your exhaust, that the standard H-Pipe just can't match.

Compatible With Stock Cats. The MAC Pro Chamber Mid-Pipe bolts up directly behind the stock catalytic converters with no cutting required saving you time and money. By reusing your stock catalytic converters you ensure that Mustang is smog-legal.

High Quality Construction. Constructed from durable 2.5" diameter stainless steel tubing, this MAC Performance mid pipe is CNC mandrel bent to ensure maximum exhaust flow, so there are no kinks to rob you of power.

Application. The MAC Performance Pro Chamber Mid-pipe is designed to be a direct bolt-on for the 2011-2014 5.0L GT Mustangs with either aftermarket short tube headers or the stock manifolds installed. Reuses the stock Catalytic Converters.

Would this mid pipe with Borla axle backs require programming?

  • No, because this Prochamber keeps your stock catalytic converters it would not need a tune.

I have a '12 V6 with GT 2.5" O/A pipes, aside from the 18" Resonator Glasspacks I'm getting, can this be welded on with stock Cats?

  • In your application you will have to do some modification to make this mid pipe work. It will not be a direct fit but with some welding and cutting you may be able to make this work. Unfortunately as soon as this pipe is modified and with it not being used with the model Mustang it is designed for any type of warranty that goes along with this pipe will be voided.

will this mac mid pipe work with cat deletes on my '14 5.0?

  • Yes it will! I have it with JEGS cat deletes and it sounds excellent with my Roush axle-backs. The power is there and the sound remains unchanged (slightly).

Fitment with drive shaft I have a one piece Aluminum drive shaft, and i was wondering if this would work with that installed?

  • I have this on my 2011 along with a 1 piece carbon fiber drive shaft. They work together quite well. I didnt do the install, so I cant comment on any finagling that may have taken place, but the shop didnt mention any issues with fitment.

    Best H pipe

This is the second Mac pro chamber I've had and they are definitely worth the money. Average RWHP gain is 23, the figures are on MAC website. The sound is great however, I noticed it did quiet down my Kooks axle backs a little bit. The sound that followed though was a clean crisp muscle car rumble with little to no drone. If your hesitant about this H-pipe cause you don't want to sacrifice sound for power then I'd say delete that cats and you will get the sound back not to mention HP. That's what I did now the sound and power are spot on. All together this is a great product that is well made and puts out great power and sound. Install is straight forward and can be done in less than an hour with some jack stands and a wrench.

    ProChamber Muscle Tone

Using the ProChamber provides a deep tone though slightly quieter. A ProChamber needs matched up with resonator removals and very aggressive mufflers. Dr GAS, Spintech, Flowmaster 1 chamber, Cherry Bomb, BORLA all have an agressive muffler . Followed by immediate Dyno tune before pulling away. HP increase will result.

This is a good h pipe. Very good increase n power that u can feel. With 22 rims the car will spen the tires in 2rd from just hard throttle. I have hushpower mufflers that sounds good with stock h pipe but this h pipe quiet it down alot but a good trade for me less sound more power. May try a different muffler to increase sound back to were it was. Roush or flowmaster outlaw. Diff worth the money.

    Deep sound

This midpipe made the sound level way quieter than the factory H.... But the sound of it is awesome, I love it.... Before all the exhaust sound just sounded like it was coming out of the tips.... With the pro chamber it makes it sound like it's coming from the depths of the 5.0's soul lol Sounds real deep and healthy.. Hard to get use to it being quieter but once you do it's an awesome sound.

Exactly what I was hoping for!

Let me start by telling you what exhaust setup my car had before purchasing the MAC Pro Chamber. My car has the factory headers and cats with x-pipe, gt500 over axle pipes (no resonators), and Roush axle back / mufflers. The exhaust volume and note were simple too much for my taste. Loud, raspy, and obnoxious at times. Read a few reviews stating the MAC Pro Chamber not only changed the note to something deeper / more mellow, but also reduced the volume (without adding restriction). Let me tell you it did just that. My exhaust now sounds much deeper and the volume is about half. For those that like to hear you car growl, it still sounds good when you are in it and at WOT is still loud enough. The quality of fabrication and fitment are not what they should be for the price. It took a little finesse and RTV silicone to get it to fit/seal properly. I just wish MAC would put a bit more craftsmanship into this product. From the outside it looks okay, but if you look at the welds closely and from inside they are not so good. For that I have deducted one star. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and what it did for my exhaust.

    great sound and fit

Can't say enough about this mid pipe. Sounds great, gives my mustang that classic mustang tone I wanted not that overly raspy popping sound that you get from the x-pipe and ift mounted up seemless to my bbk cat delete downpipes.

Best Mid Pipe for the Coyote

I have used pro chambers on all of my mustangs. If you want the deep tone idle and cruising tone of a muscle car with the scream of a race car once you crack open the throttle. This is the one to get.

As the title suggests, I am deducting a star due to the workman ship. I posted a picture of the mac mid pipe on here as well, in the event you question my integrity. One pipe is welded on angled so that the "box" portion of the piping does not sit flush under the car. Was that intentional? No clue. There is nothing that it seems to remotely come in contact with. Aside from that, sound is excellent, if you are looking to get cat deletes and still run an axleback like mine-roush. I currently have this paired up with catless down pipes and the roush axle backs and I have no complaints. There is DEFINITELY a power gain in the mid and lower power band. Is that from the prochamber alone? No idea again, but the sound quality is one that you could easily welcome to the family of car parts.

    Exactly what I wanted!

I purchased the pro chamber along with Pypes cat delete down pipe that end up with the Pypes axle backs. The Pro Chamber was the perfect addition to the car and it really gives you that great sound while still being able to cruise on the highway or side streets without killing your ear drums all day. I have gotten so many compliments on how my exhaust sounds as well as the slight power difference and the over feel of the ride after a new tune.

    questionable at best

Can't confirm any horsepower increase, it does quiet down the exhaust sound ( I am running Corsa sport), It is as quiet as stock now. The fit is OK at best the chamber is lop sided and the pipe is about an inch too short so expect some exhaust leak. I am going to Dyno the car to see if anything has happened in the horsepower. I have a feeling this thing is going to be a Dud! And even if there is any gain I have to spend another $700 for different Mufflers just to gain the exhaust note that I want.

    Mac Prochamber

I really like the sound of the prochamber. It is nice an deep and smooth. I wasnt sure what it would sound like because although they are out of stock a lot, I couldnt find videos of them on the new models. I have the GT500 axlebacks with resonator delete and it sounded mean. BUT the prochamber made it so quiet now I can barely hear my car. Good product, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making sure your mufflers are loud. The prochamber will cut the volume in half. As for power gains. Couldnt tell a thing. I can tell you it drives smooth and sounds good from the outside, but if your a guy who likes to hear it when they drive, be careful what axlbacks you run.

Nice Tone. Not as much noise.

This mid pipe does change the tone of your exhaust. I feel like it took the rough tinny sound away and left that deep, low frequency rumble. I highly recommend this product.
