Made my black GT look like a different car
These rims make my 2012 Black GT look great. I got the standard setup with Pirelli's so I could rotate. I can't afford to go thru tires so fast like with the staggered sets. My car in the photos is the black one with the fat guy on the other side of it. The whole neighborhood was impressed with these rims. For the install, you will need a thin wall 13/16 socket. I bought a half inch 13/16 Kobalt and it was too thick. The socket would not fit down into the holes where the lugs go. Luckily my neighbor had a 3/8 thin wall craftsman socket and my other neighbor had a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter so it would fit on my impact wrench. The Craftsman socket was not a deep well, so you can get a standard depth socket. We tried a 4 way and it was too thick also. Taking off the stock rims was not as much of a problem because the lug nuts are exposed more so the thickness of the socket will not matter. After finding the right tools around the neighborhood, I got these installed quickly, did a quick burnout, and synced up the TPMS, and stood back and admired the new look of my car. Best appearance mod I've made yet.
