      Description

      EMISSIONS CONTROL COMPONENT. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; HM Grade; 2.50-Inch is designed to reduce harmful emissions and help vehicles comply with federal environmental standards by converting toxic gases into less harmful substances.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted from high strength 16 gauge 409 and 308 stainless steel with a clam-shell body and aluminized steel heat shield, this catalytic converter features a durable corrosion-resistant finish. The single laser fusion weld provides a reliable, leak-free seal.

      INSTALLATION. Installation requires professional welding and fitting due to its universal design and pipe connection inlet/outlet type. No clamps or hangers are included, so proper installation tools and skills are necessary.

      WARRANTY. The product comes with limited emissions and construction warranties that ensure long-lasting performance and compliance.

      APPLICATION. Designed to fit 1996 through 1998 Mustang V8 4.6L models, this converter meets federal EPA requirements but is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to local regulations.
