More Horsepower And Torque.Improve the power and performance of your coyote powered Pony by replacing those restrictive stock cast iron exhaust manifolds with a set of Magnaflow Shorty Headers. These shorty headers will greatly improve your Mustangs exhaust flow to increase horsepower, torque and overall performance. You'll also notice an improved exhaust tone and idle and on the peddle.

Make Some Noise. This high-flow shorty header design opens up your exhaust to allow more efficient outflow through your pipes. With this less restrictive header design you'll pick up a few decibels in your exhaust tone for a more aggressive sound.

Retain OEM Cats. These Magnaflow Shorty Headers are designed to bolt on to your Mustang's OEM mid-pipe, retaining your catalytic converters. Because of this you won't have to worry about violating emissions or staying road-legal in restrictive states.

Quality Magnaflow Construction. Manufactured from 1-3/4"" mandrel bent 409 stainless steel tubing for strength and unrestricted airflow, these Magnaflow Shorty Mustang Exhaust headers feature 3/8"" thick header flanges for additional strength and factory style collector connectors to ensure a direct OEM style leak free fit.

Ceramic Coating. These Headers are completed in Magnaflow's Ceramic Coating that not only looks great, but reduces under hood temperatures to help increase horsepower and extend the life of the headers. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both chrome plated and polished headers.

Application. These Magnaflow shorty headers are designed to fit the 2011 to 2014 GT and BOSS Mustangs equipped with the coyote 5.0L 4-Valve Engine. Gaskets and mounting hardware are included, so that they will bolt right up to your Mustangs stock Mid Pipe.

      Beautiful Headers, But Be Warned!

I decided to completely rebuild my 2013 Mustang GT's rear end and since we were having to take the exhaust down to get to a lot of the parts, I decided to do the exhaust as well. The headers themselves are gorgeous, the ceramic coating looks wonderful, and the bends and shapes of the pipes look phenomenal. Viewing the exit ports on the headers, there are four exit ports, so each tube has it's own port unlike the stock headers that feed the four tubes into two exit ports. I have access to a lift and engine jacks at work and my stepdad (who has rebuilt many Mustangs) and I started to strip the stock headers off, we decided to just reuse the stock bolts on some of the areas just for the ease of getting them on and off. What we found out, the threads on the bolts that come with these headers, DO NOT MATCH THE FACTORY THREADS. When we tried to install one of the bolts that came with the headers, the BOLT STRIPPED THE CYLINDER HEAD. Luckily we had the equipment to retap the hole, and found another bolt in the shop to use. If you can, just reuse the stock bolts, or at least double check all bolts to make sure that they are the exact same thread as the stock bolts or you will be in for a world of hurt. Other than that, they sound glorious when you fire the car up with open headers. Almost tempted to not continue putting up the rest of the exhaust. But due to the issues caused installing them, the rating is lower. And you will need a lift for this, or have someone install them who has access to a lift.
