Description
Performance Lightweight Flywheel. The McLeod Aluminum Flywheel; 6 Bolt is engineered to reduce rotational mass, enhancing engine response and acceleration. It is ideal for high-performance and racing applications, allowing engines to rev faster and transfer more power to the drivetrain.
Construction and Appearance. This flywheel is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum for a strong yet lightweight design. It features a replaceable steel friction plate and a hardened 1045 steel ring gear, which ensures durability while minimizing weight.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and does not require drilling. The flywheel aligns precisely with the pressure plate using the provided alignment pins, ensuring a secure fit.
Warranty. This flywheel includes a limited 90-day warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Designed specifically for the 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models, excluding ZR1 due to different crankshaft bolt patterns.
