Description

The Milltek Catted Downpipe for OE Exhaust Systems is designed to improve both efficiency and sound by increasing exhaust gas flow with a larger bore than standard components. It is intended for enthusiasts seeking a significant performance upgrade while retaining compatibility with the original cat-back exhaust system. The product requires a Stage 2 ECU remap to maximize benefits.

Construction and Appearance. This downpipe features a large 70 mm diameter pipe engineered to improve exhaust flow. Manufactured in the UK, the unit includes a high-flow sports catalyst but is a race product and not E-marked.

Installation. Installation replaces the original downpipe while retaining the OE cat-back exhaust system. No drilling is required; professional ECU remapping is necessary to fully leverage the performance gains.

Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2015 to 2023 Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost models with the factory cat-back exhaust system. It is not compatible with aftermarket cat-back systems without appropriate modifications or different downpipe options.
