Description
Enhanced Cooling Performance. The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat; 160-Degree is designed to improve cooling efficiency by lowering the thermostat activation temperature to 160°F, compared to the standard 212°F. This allows coolant to circulate through the engine earlier, reducing and maintaining lower engine temperatures, which is important for maintaining performance and reliability during demanding driving conditions.
Construction and Fitment. This thermostat is a direct fit replacement designed to install into the stock thermostat housing without the need for modifications. It is made to meet the functional requirements of high-temperature operation.
Installation. Installation requires removal of the stock thermostat and replacement with this unit. Use of the correct GM thermostat housing part numbers 12657137 or 12671393 is necessary. No additional modifications or drilling to the housing are required.
Warranty. This product comes with a lifetime limited warranty.
Application. Designed primarily for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 models. Installation requires the GM thermostat housing part numbers 12657137 or 12671393; the product is not compatible without these housings.
