Description
Enhanced Cooling Performance. The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat is engineered to open at 180°F, significantly lower than the stock thermostat's 212°F. This earlier activation allows coolant to circulate through the engine sooner, helping maintain reduced engine temperatures crucial for high-performance and racing applications to prevent overheating and improve engine longevity.
Construction and Durability. Crafted with high-quality materials and precision components, this thermostat is built to endure demanding racing conditions while providing consistent and reliable thermal regulation.
Installation. Installation requires the removal of the stock thermostat and replacement with this unit, along with the use of GM housings 12657137 or 12671393. No modifications or drilling are necessary. It is recommended to cycle the engine through hot and cold phases after installation to ensure proper valve operation.
