    Hey I’m Justin with, here with a way to keep your ride cool all while making a dramatic visual improvement under the hood as well, I’m talking about these Mishimoto aluminum radiators for your 94-04 Mustang. Mishimoto has become one of the industry leaders in producing quality performance radiators for just about any vehicle you can think of, from bone stock daily drivers to hardcore professional race cars. These direct replacements are a great solution to an old, damaged, or leaking factory rad, or for a heavily modded or forced induction car, where the cooling system just can’t keep up with the increased cooling needs. The Mishimoto will help keep your street or strip Mustang much cooler by using this 2 row core, which is going to allow for a 25% increase in cooling capacity next to your stock radiator. Every Mishimoto radiator is constructed using durable lightweight aluminum, features leak proof fittings, and are all hand welded to ensure top notch quality and fitment. On top of all that, every Mishimoto radiator is backed by a no questions asked, limited lifetime warranty. A big feature with the Mishimoto is their patent pending floating bracket mounting system, that eliminates a major flaw in the factory mount design. Because of the Mustangs torque the front of the car tends to flex under load, which can sometimes lead to a damaged radiator. The floating brackets attach to the side of the radiator, using these rubber grommets to absorb any movement, in addition Mishimoto has added breaks to the top and bottom header plates, that allow the radiator to flex without being damaged. Getting this installed may be slightly more difficult than installing say, a cold air intake for instance, but honestly it’s not that bad. Think of it as a giant oil change. Before getting started you will need something on hand to hold all that fluid, in this case we recommend having at least a 15 quart drain pan on hand, before you start draining your fluids. Once you get all the fluids drained, remove the hoses from the stock radiator, unbolt it, and remove it from the engine bay. Reinstall the new Mishimoto in reverse order, reattach the hoses and fill it with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Doing all this should take you no more than 2 hours. Any gearhead knows that heat is one of the worse enemies of performance, it can hurt power, damage your fuel mileage and worse of all damage your motor.     Floating Bracket Stabilizer System. High torque engines and body flex can cause radiator end tanks to crack or separate from the core, in order to eliminate this issue Mishimoto has engineered a patent-pending floating bracket stabilizer system that allows their radiators to "float" freely with out binding or cracking under stress.

    Lightweight Aluminum. Mishimoto Radiators are crafted of lightweight high-quality aluminum. Each radiator is hand-welded to which ensure a perfect fit and great underhood appearance.  

    Leak-Proof Design. Other aftermarket radiators have a design problem that causes leakage from the outlet to the overflow reservoir. Unlike other manufacturer, Mishimoto uses specially designed brass fittings to ensure leak-free performance.     • This aluminum radiator will only fit 97-04 GT models equipped with the automatic transmission. This will not work with the '96 GT model.

    Can this radiator be installed in a V6 supercharged set up? Im pretty sure some modifications will be needed but how complex?

    • This would have to be a completely custom set up and most likely have some brackets fabricated from scratch. Unfortunately I do not have the exact specifications you would need to complete this this part is designed to work on a 1997 to 2004 Mustang GT.

      98 gt fitment issues

      Over this is an excellent product, but there's just one small little complaint I have with it and it's that the automatic transmission coolant lines don't fit right. I'm going to try calling mishimoto to see if there's anything they can do about it, other than that it fits just fine, so if you have a 98 gt be aware that the lines might not fit correctly

      great radiator but...

      installed in a modded 2000 gt vert. Had heads cams and intakes done. Planned for a P1sc and upon adding that we had issues with the clearance of inlet piping and radiator/hoses. This is cuz its about twice as thick as the stocker. This radiator will cause you to modify the Procharger Install. It does work fine for non frt mount forced induction. Ran nice and cool in Florida temps.

      this is a great replacement for your stock radiator

      this is a very easy to install radiator only takes an hour and a half to two at most. it looks great and perfect for any high performance stang. the new stabilizer system will keep the body flex from creating a leak which is a major problem for the mustang and its uni-body design. i am a ase certified tech and I highly recommend this to any one thats wants to keep their stang nice and cool as everyone know that heat is the worst thing for a car

      Mishimoto Gets It

      Hit the limits of the stock cooling system at 400RWHP with auto. Mini boil overs after back to back runs or hard street driving with a 40:60 mix. This solution came packaged like Fort Knox with admirable weld / build quality. Install was easy after assembling the stablizer system to the unit. Everything: old fan, lines, hoses, upper brackets fit without mods. Helps to remove the battery box, gently bend the AC lines 1/4" or so, and install the passenger side upper stabilizer bolt after sliding the unit in past the lines. Clears ABS pump with room to spare. Watch the video, but not clear where the 4 washers were supposed to go so I put them between the rubber pads and radiator tanks right or wrong. Magnetic drain plug a plus. Took about 1/3rd gallon more coolant over stock. Takes twice as long to get to full temperature and does not stay pegged there like it used to is all I can say without a digital gauge. I'll take that improvement at a value of a price and I shopped them all.
