Description
Strict Tolerances Met Here. The Motive Performance Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 5.71 Gears meets the strictest tolerances from the forging process to the computer controlled heat treating process. The components are made to have superior strength and quality and are excellent for both street and off-road applications.
Ready for the Street or the Track. The ring gear and pinion are CNC machined from 8620 gear steel and then factory lapped to ensure a precise fit. The pinion features 30 splines and a 1.628" shaft diameter while the ring gear is 8.8" in diameter. The components were developed specifically to withstand the extreme torque and high horsepower conditions required for the track.
Installation. To properly install this kit requires a high level of mechanical skill; otherwise, professional installation is recommended. All of the necessary installation hardware is included in the box.
Two-Year/100,000-Mile Warranty. The kit is covered by a two-year or 100,000-mile warranty against material or manufacturing defects. Please see manufacturer's website for complete details.
