Description
Advanced Heat Shielding. The GEN-3 T4 Onyx Series Turbo Shield/Blanket provides superior heat containment and protection for turbochargers. It insulates the turbine housing to reduce underhood temperatures, improve efficiency, and enhance safety. This shield is essential for boosting turbocharger performance and safeguarding surrounding engine components.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring an outer silicone-coated Onyx Black layer, this turbo shield resists fraying and strengthens seams. Inside, it incorporates layers of silica insulation, stainless steel, glass fiber, and silicone, which collectively deliver exceptional thermal resistance and durability. The stainless steel fabric inner cover withstands extreme temperatures without degrading or becoming brittle.
Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. The provided stainless steel wire ensures a secure attachment. The design allows for an easy fit with minor adjustments to accommodate various turbo sizes within the T4 category.
