GEN-3 T4 Titanium Series Turbo Shield/Blanket (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)

Advanced Heat Protection. The GEN-3 T4 Titanium Series Turbo Shield/Blanket is engineered to provide superior thermal management for turbochargers. It effectively contains turbo heat, improving performance and reducing under-hood temperatures to help protect surrounding components. This shield is used by wrapping it securely around the turbo housing, making it essential for high-performance and racing applications.

Construction and Appearance. Featuring an outer shell of silicone-coated titanium in a proprietary diagonal weave, the shield offers exceptional durability and abrasion resistance. Beneath this is a thick silica insulation layer with low thermal conductivity, supplemented by an inner layer made from stainless steel, glass fiber, and silicone, enhancing both insulation and seam strength. The innermost cover is stainless steel fabric designed to endure extreme temperatures while maintaining flexibility.

Installation. Installation is straightforward without the need for drilling, utilizing the included 22 gauge stainless steel wire for secure fastening. Basic mechanical skills are sufficient to install the shield tightly around compatible turbo housings.

Application. This turbo shield is sized to fit turbochargers with a circumference between 20" and 22" and a width of 2.75". It fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to ensure the best fit.
