      Heavy‑Duty Mustang Axle Housing. The HD 9‑Inch Ford Axle Housing with Upper Mount and Housing Ends is engineered for 2005–2014 Ford Mustang applications. It provides a robust foundation for high‑performance rear‑end builds, with specific adjustments for the upper control arm location to enhance fit and geometry.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from .141‑inch mild steel with a .282-inch-thick face plate, the center housing features internal gussets and welding slots, plus an extended cover for gear clearance. The axle tubes are made of DOM 1026 steel (3.250-Inch OD × .250-Inch wall), and the housing ends are forged chrome‑moly compatible with 3.150-Inch bearings. All welds are professionally jig‑aligned for maximum structural integrity.

      Installation. Installation is moderately challenging: it requires aftermarket adjustable upper control arms (due to the .400-inch forward/upward mount shift) and may necessitate welding. No lower control arm mounts are included, so additional fabrication or parts may be required.
