Hey guys. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the OPR headlight nose panel, for all 1999 to 2004 Mustangs. This is a direct-fit factory replacement for those of you out there that are looking for a restoration piece. It's made of the same thermal plastic materials as your factory one, and it has a black finish. It costs about $80, and as far as the install goes, I'll call it a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, because this does take a little bit of work to get installed. All right, guys, so we're gonna start the install with the hood up. You do have to pull the front fascia in order to get this install done. We're gonna start by taking this cover off right here. They are Phillips head push pins. All right. So we'll go ahead, we'll grab our pins out from behind the headlight. We'll pull the headlight out, disconnect our harnesses, and we'll do the same thing on this side. We'll pull our pins, pull the headlight out, disconnect our electrical connections, and remove the headlight. All right, guys, now we raised the car up in the air a little bit. There are two bolts on either side that we're gonna remove. So, we went ahead and we peeled back our inner wheel liner here. You guys may have a couple push pins that are holding this in place, and I have an 11 millimeter socket as well. And the nut that I'm going for is actually right here, right inside the bumper holding it in place. All right, guys, now we're gonna remove the two push pins on either side of our upper grille here. All right, guys, now I'm just gonna take the corner of the bumper, and I'm gonna pull out because there are two studs in the bumper that need to pull away from the body of the car. And now we're gonna work on removing our front bumper. So, at this point, there are a couple things holding our stock headlight nose panel in place. We have the running pony in place here, which we'll take a hex bit and get that out of the way. And then we have some 8 millimeter bolts that are also holding this in place. So, go ahead, grab this. All right, guys, now we will just pull this out of place. So, we'll go ahead and get our panel in place. Get it lined up, run our wiring harnesses through. At this point, we have the panel sitting perfectly. We're gonna go ahead and get all of our bolts back in place. The next piece we're gonna install is our grille surround, here. It's held in by two push pins right here. We just pulled it off of the old headlight panel and now we're gonna install it on this one. Now we'll get our emblem in place. We are getting our bumper in place now. Get the two studs in over here. This piece of your bumper goes into the headlight nose panel. We'll also get our push pins back in place. Now we're gonna go ahead and get the nuts back on the bumper here in the fender. We're gonna do the same thing on the other side, too. Now we'll go ahead and get our headlights back in place. We'll reconnect all of our bulbs. We'll do the same thing on the other side. We'll get our headlight in place, reconnect our harnesses, push the harnesses back through the headlight panel, get our headlights in place. The last thing we'll do is get our cover in place. That's gonna wrap up this review and install. Keep in mind that you can always check this out more online. I'm Stephanie, and for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
