      Description

      Precise Air–Fuel Ratio Feedback. The upstream O2 Oxygen Sensor provides real-time readings of exhaust oxygen content, allowing the engine control unit to fine-tune fuel delivery for optimal performance, emissions compliance, and fuel economy. The O2 Oxygen Sensor; Upstream mounts in the exhaust manifold or head pipe to capture the freshest exhaust gases before they pass the catalytic converter.

      Robust, Long-Lasting Construction. Housed in stainless steel with a built-in heat shield and wired with high-temperature Teflon insulation, this sensor resists thermal cycling and exhaust contaminants, delivering reliable readings over its service life.

      Installation. This product installs by unscrewing the old sensor, threading in the new sensor to the factory port, and reconnecting the electrical plug—basic hand tools and anti-seize compound recommended.

      Application. This O2 Oxygen Sensor; Upstream fits 1987–1989 Mustang 2.3L and 1987–1993 Mustang 5.0L engines without modification.
