What accessories will work with this fan? I currently have this fan installed problem is I do not have the shroud and living in Nevada I know it will overheat. Do you have a shroud that will work with this fan? If so, can you send me the link to it. Thanks

    Viper3man

    • We do not have a shroud on site that will work with the Replacement Radiator Fan - 9 Blade (86-93 5.0L) however there are appliances that can be made to work in conjunction with this fan.

      Fan blade replacement

I just bought a 1992 mustang gt and noticed the fan blade had severe cracks all over. I’m lucky it didn’t fall apart while driving it home 200 miles from where I bought it from. No one has it not even my 5 local Ford dealers. I found a used one with minimal cracks for 80$ and a friend suggested I check American Muscle. I used them a while back but I guess they have expanded their offerings for foxbody mustangs. They had it and I bought it for 35$ new shipped to UPS. It was very good quality and fit perfect. I’m gonna restore my 1991 GT and absolutely recommend American Muscle. The service on the order line was knowledgeable and friendly.

Radiator cooling fan review for 88 Mustang 5.0

This replacement radiator fan is well-made of quality equal to OEM. It bolted right up with no alignment issues whatsoever. I would recommend it, it's made in China but again, it's high-quality.

      Completely easy

This litterly took me 10 minuets to throw it on. The only thing was to clean your fan clutch before re installing and line up your bolts.

      Looks like the original.

Easy installation, did not notice any differences between the replacement blade and the original one. Blade did come with what looked like some type of medal spacer. There was no paper work inclosed and A/M had no idea what it's purpose was for.

      Replaced cracked fan

Most foxbodies have cracked fan blades... I've seen it on almost everyone ive looked at. Replacing this is essential to preventing damage to your engine bay caused by fan shrapnel. Its cheap too so just get it already.

      Just like the factory fan

I ordered this replacement fan because my factory fan has cracks all over it and was a accident waiting to happen. This fan is exactly like the factory fan except the center is painted black where the factory fan was anodized. For the price you can't go wrong.

      Better replace if original

My original only has 82k orig miles on it, but its a 26 year old car. They get cracks all over them, so get it fixed before it shatters causing significant damage to everything around it. Might as well replace the fan clutch too. They are both cheap and easy to do.
