      Fabricated 9-Inch Housing Assembly. The Ultra Fab 9-Inch Axle Housing with Mounts, Ends, Fill, Drain and Vent is engineered to provide a highly durable and rigid rear housing solution for 1979-2004 Mustang models. This housing assembly enhances drivetrain strength and vehicle stability, supporting consistent power delivery and launch control in demanding driving conditions. It is designed for performance enthusiasts seeking a strong upgrade for street, track, or race applications.

      Construction and Durability. Built from extra high strength 100XF cold formed steel, this housing features a robust triangulated design with .125” wall thickness and a heavy duty .375” face plate. Internal radial gusset plates reinforce the tube ends, while the tubes are constructed from precision DOM 1026 steel with a 3.250” outer diameter and .250” wall thickness for added strength. The housing ends and tubes are jig welded to ensure precise alignment and maximum structural integrity.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for OEM Mustang applications. The jig welding of tubes and ends ensures accurate fitment, allowing for a secure and reliable installation without the need for drilling.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979 through 2004 Mustang models, this housing assembly provides a direct bolt-in upgrade compatible with OEM 8.8 housing pinion offset and mounting locations.
