Is this kit included in the Ford Racing Ring/pinion kit to rebuilt the rear end?

    • No, these must be ordered separately. These are the outside axle bearings and seals. The kits come with pinion bearings and carrier bearings (think inner axle bearings). Good luck.

Will these work with aftermarket 31 spline axles?

    • Moser Engineering and Yukon "on their websites" list the same axle bearing part number for both 31 spline and 28 spline axles - Ford 8.8. Hope this answers your question.

      Great Product!

I ordered these to replace my factory bearings on my 99 GT. I'm sure the factory were fine, but with the car being 17 years old.... I think it deserved them! I order them Sunday evening and they arrived on Tuesday.

      Much quieter ride!

The new bearings and seals felt very well made and I especially like that they are made in the USA! I had a terrible roar at any speed over 40MPH and now it is much quieter. Although I have now discovered that I have chipped spider gear in my LSD and the ring gear looks a little pitted. Looks like I will have another project for this year. For anyone that hasn't done this job before, if you have ABS, you will need to loosen the ABS sensor in order to push the axles in far enough to remove the C clips inside the rear end.

      Complete the build

The bearings and seals look to be good qualityand are easy to install while gears are out. Run a rod through housing and knock them out from opposite side.
