      Description

      NT555 G2. Most Ultra High Performance Summer Tires aren’t practical for everyday use, but this one is an exception. Thanks to several innovative designs, the Nitto NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Tires works not only when the pavement is dry, but even right after it has rained. The result is better all-around performance you can actually use on a daily basis, not just when conditions are ideal.Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during its manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.

      Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2's tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Corvette.

      Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. This combination of grooves and tread blocks help to greatly reduce the possibility of hydroplaning.
