      Description

      100% New. This 200 Amp Mustang Alternator is 100% Brand New, not re-manufactured like other companies sell and is tested at the time of assembly. It comes complete with internal voltage regulator and pulley. Designed for highly (electrically) modified cars - this alternator will quadruple the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with only minor modifications.

      More Power. The PA Performance Alternator produces 100 amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft RPM), and 200 amps at maximum (6000 alternator shaft RPM). It is required to upgrade the main power wire because this alternator has a higher output than stock. (See the drop down menu option above.)

        Great modification!

        The stock alternator could barely keep up with the demand when running the a/c and headlights, directional would blink so slow, and engine would almost stall. This 200 amp alternator works fantastic.

        Perfect for my needs

        My 1989 ssp was in need of more amperage after I installed e-fans, a/c, and a stereo system. This did the trick.

        Works awesome with vortech supercharger

        Sick of junk on eBay and bought this. This works awesome. Supercharged with a stock 302 lower half and 2000k Watts of sound. I can finally feel the bass. I can now run the heater, lights and subs. Now to get the AC upgraded.

        Save your money

        I purchased this alternator as an upgrade for my 93 act cobra worked great for couple months then went out. Contacted pa for this issue send them proof of purchase and other info they needed to resolve issues and never heard back from them after that . I would suggest staying away from this company they can not even stand by there products and take care of there customers when an issue arises that’s for the wasted money I spent on the alt and the wiring with fuse not a cheap up garage glad I throw away my hard earned money still to this day I have sent emails with no help

        Deff top 5 upgrades

        It does require some bracket cutting, but nothing to crazy, used a circle cutter and a stone grinder to smooth and cut out. I was expected the gauge to be at the very top in the dash and first turned it on it was barely more than it used to be. So i turned on everything i could and boy was impressed. I could turn on all headlights foglights ac ane sound system and it barely moved half between letters they used to show you where you are at. Before i would down 3 letters almost at the bottom. Love this thing amd suggest the power wires they are a must and take your time with them so they look nice

        High power!

        My factory alternator was only putting out 12.5 volts at idle. With the a/c running on high and the electric fans going and I also have a high power ignition system. I installed this alternator with wire kit and now I am getting 14.6.

      I have an 88 mustang. Dual mishimoto electric fans, car stereo and battery relocated to the trunk. I have some minor mods but mostly stock. Would this be to much amps. The stock alternator doesnt keep up.

      Are you not aware that an alternator will not output more amperage than the electrical system demands? So, ordering too large an alternator will not damage anything but your wallet.

      What size serpentine belt is needed to work with this alternator? 94.2 inch is too big and 90.5 inch is too small.

      I have a dual electric fan would the 200 amp alternator be too much? The car is pretty much stock other than that for now. at some point I may upgrade the radio system.

      • We would not suggest this amp for a mostly stock Mustang, as you can over charge your battery, and blow out some of your other electrical components. We would suggest sticking closer to a stock replacement if you do not have other modifications that you would like to add.

      how many volts will this put out I have an XS power D3400 AGM battery that can only have 14.4 volts anymore than 14.4 for 5 minutes will ruin the battery.

      • The voltage range of this alternator is 12.8-14.6.
