When installing a single wideband sensor in a 4.6 , which bank is recommended? I have heard arguments for both sides , just wondering if the manufacturer has a recommendation, I would think that it would be the side that gets the fuel last . Thanks

    convertiblack

    • The Auto Meter Phantom Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge can be installed on either bank. It is not required to be installed on a certain side.

      Great addition to any car.

During my fuel system and supercharger swap I installed this wideband. Readings are spot on with what my tuner was reading. Install was straight forward and fairly simple.

      Inaccurate

I've had multiple air fuel gauges in cars and only bought this one to match a boost gauge I had but it was a very poor choice on my part. I purchased this from AM last summer while I was building my car I finally opened it and installed it a week ago brought my car to the dyno and this gauge reads 1-3 full points off what the air fuel should be. As in at 14.2 the gauge says 12.9 at full throttle it says 15.1 when my air fuel is 11.5 and randomly this gauge sticks at 17. It was a complete waste of $200 and is highly inaccurate

      A/F gauge

This product is designed to monitor you air fuel mixture to prevent damage if it was to lean out or run rich. Autometer makes some of the best gauges on the block, I have purchased many over the years an will continue to do so. Autometer makes some very durable and reliable products an the price does hurt the wallet like some of there competition. Hands done a 5 star product.

      AFR

Products works well and looks gauge in a gauge pod. Only thing I dislike is the few second lag on the afr readings.

      Good to have with cobras

With a white gauge face, the AFR gauge matches factory gauges in the cluster and in my opinion, fits real well the rest of the car when mounted on the pillar. Its a must have for SVT owners who care about the status of the burn within the combustion chamber. If you start to run lean under acceleration, you can back off the throttle before something catastrophic happens. Might seem pricey but it'll last you a good time and Autometer is one of the best brands out there.
