Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com. This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come. Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already. Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner. Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out. You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at americanmuscle.com.

More Stopping Power. Enhance the stopping performance of your V6 Pony by installing a pair of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled and Slotted Front Rotors. Power Stop makes upgrading components of your brake system easy by practicing precise machining and casting of their brake rotors. All of Power Stop's Rotors have been mill balanced for a perfect fit and to reduce the chance of any unwanted NVH.

Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Power Stop Rotors offer you dual benefits. The drilled holes allow for up to 180 degrees of cooling over stock under hard braking and slots, which create a clear contact patch between your pad and rotor and are designed to sweep away gas and dust. Power Stop Rotors are crafted from the finest blanks on the market and feature G3000 grade castings that have been silver zinc plated to resist rust.

Application. This front pair of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors are specifically designed for use on 2005 to 2010 V6 Mustangs.

No issues with the install. Took about three hours to install all 4 rotors and pads, but that that's just my pace. Glad I purchased the zinc coated rotors - now no rusty hub or edges to look at. As always, American Muscle made the ordering simple and had the parts to me within a few days.

    Great product!

I put all new rotors and front brakes on my 2010 v6, bc my rotors where warped. It took away the shaking n my steering wheel but I didn't really notice a difference n the stopping power. I do have to say they look great on the car though l.

Best Rotors AM has to offer!

I bought the power stop evolution cross-drilled and slotted rotors with three goals in mind: one was to help prevent brake dust from falling on my 20s, enhance the appearance, and improve stopping power. I would say that all these goals were accomplished. They have been on my car for several months now and still looking fresh out of the box. Now, when I brake, it feels much more efficient and responsive. If you are looking to upgrade your brake rotors, I would HIGHLY recommend these because you get a lot out of a good price.

a great way to replace brakes and rotors

I needed all new brakes and rotors. These rotors were a great way to do that. They stop as good or better than the original equipment. Try them you will like them.

    2nd Set

They look good and perform well. However this is my second set. My first set was less then one year old and they warped. Manufactures warranty (500 miles/30 days) is terrible. Also because they are drilled and slotted, you cannot have them turned down. I recommend that you follow the manufactures break in process to the letter.

    Power Stop

The look great compared to the oem and they don't squeak or whine. I did notice less brake fading under heavy braking. Install was about 30 min for both.

Needed Brakes and went this way

They look great, had the shop do all 4 brakes cost about $209 for the install of all and they broke them in for me too. Drove it only once since and they seem to be great. Getting ready to put her away for the winter and will know more next summer. Matt

    Awesome product!!!

My stock old rotors were warped and caused my car to shake excessively so I decided to go with these. After installing these, my car feels amazing again. Braking is so smooth now plus these crossed/drilled rotors look sick on the car as well as perform better.

    Good looks.

Makes the car look a lot better especially with small spoke wheels. As for the performance they are just a bit better than the OEM brakes. Not much changes accept that it grips harder and quicker but it isn't significantly noticeable.

    Great Product

Upon receiving these rotors, I opened them up and checked on the quality. The quality is amazing and you can tell right when you pick one up. I recently help install new rotors on my brother car and he bought new rotors from a local auto store. When I cleaned those, they were very greasy and when I went to clean these, there was nothing to clean! Installation was a breeze and my car stops better than before. I have done a complete brake job with Power Stop rotors and pads! Great products.
