    Review & Install Video

Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com. This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come. Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already. Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner. Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out. You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at americanmuscle.com.

Improve Stopping Power. Update the front rotors of your big brake equipped S197 with the addition of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled and Slotted Front Rotors. Power Stop makes upgrading components of your brake system easy by practicing precise machining and casting of their brake rotors. All of Power Stop's Rotors have been mill balanced for a perfect fit and to reduce the chance of any unwanted NVH.

Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Power Stop Rotors offer you dual benefits. The drilled holes allow for up to 180 degrees of cooling over stock under hard braking and slots, which create a clear contact patch between your pad and rotor and are designed to sweep away gas and dust. Power Stop Rotors are crafted from the finest blanks on the market and feature G3000 grade castings that have been silver zinc plated to resist rust.

Application. This front pair of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors are specifically designed for use on 2011-2014 GT equipped with Brembo Brakes, 2012-2013 BOSS 302 and 2007-2012 GT500 models. Not compatible with non-Brembo equipped models.

      Good value

Seeing you could spend hundreds of dollars on a set of rotors, these are a nice value for under 200$. They stop well and look great

Easy install and improved looks/stopping power

Hard to tell the extent of the improvement because my car is only a street car, but the improvement in looks alone is worth the price.

      Definitly Buy These!

I went from stock rotors and brakes on my 2011 Brembo GT to these slotted and drilled rotors with Hawk street and track pads...Wow! I have about 400 miles on these now. My Mustang GT already had great stopping power and there is a significant increase in stopping power. They look great and the zinc coating really makes them stand out versus the stock ones that become rusty looking on the non contact surfaces. My Brembo GT has never looked so good. Fit and finish were better than expected. Cant wait to take her to the track and dive a little deeper into the braking zone. Great Price Too! Thanks, American Muscle!

      Great Rotors For The Price

I put these on a 2007 Shelby GT500 mainly for the looks and get rid of the stock rotors. I have had the rotors now for a year and half and they look like new. Now I don't drive in the rain, nor race the car but I do drive it at times like I stole it. I can't say it stops any better then stock but looks 10x better. Also put on new low dust pads at the same time. Very Happy with the purchase.
