Can this pipe work with bbk long headers ?..

  • This Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe is intended for comparability with aftermarket long tube headers. This H-pipe was specifically manufactured to be used with Pypes long tube headers but can be paired with other brands like BKK but may require very minor modification to pair together.

will these work with pacesetter long tube headers?

  • This mid-pipe is designed to work with the Pypes long tube headers only. When doing long tube headers it is highly recommendedto match up the same brand header as the mid-pipe.

Are the long tube headers included with the purchase of the off road H pipe?

  • The Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe does not include the long tube headers. Those will need to be purchased separately and can be found here: https://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-long-headers-0510gt.html.

My off-road h pipe only came with one clamp ?

  • The Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe will come with two band clamps.

Will this work with the Axle-back Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust?

  • This combination will work as the axle-back connects to the flow tubes and not directly to the mid-pipe. So essentially you can use any axle-back with the Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe.

    O/R H pipe

The pypes off road h pipe is a good choice for those who have pypes or kooks long tube headers. Overal fitment is ok. in my case the middle clamp in the h part of the pipe catches on speed bumps and such and spins around making a loud metal screeching noise, but i am on cobra jet springs. I would definitely take it to an exhaust shop after installation and have all the clamping points welded. Sounds better than an x pipe in my opinion. I have had both, and had catalytic converters welded onto my x so i can meet emissions. Definitely notice an increase in power over a catted midpipe.

    Drones...trumpets

Installed the catless H pipe behind the Pypes long tubes, running through SLP Loudmouth axlebacks. Has the sound I always wanted at idle, but 1800 to 2500 rpm has a drone that kills the ears, and around 2000 any use of throttle makes a trumpeting sound that really detracts from the whole set-up. Moving to an x-pipe and some mid-range level mufflers to "tone it down" and eliminate or lessen the drone/trumpeting.

    Switched from X pipe

Car runs a lot smoother. Noticeable gains in torque and a meaner exhaust sound. Switched from X pipe because it was too raspy and I wanted a more classic muscle car sound.

    Deep sound

Bought this to replace the Xpipe I had for years. Sounds amazing, nice deep low tone growl. I like both the X and H, but right now, I'm digging the Hpipe sound. Sounds better when coupled with longtubes and Outlaws

    Muscle Car Rumble

Matched this H-pipe with Pypes long tube headers and Pypes Violator axle backs. This combo gave my car that deep rumble I was looking for. Quiet on the highway and LOUD when your foots in it. The fitment is very good. Highly recommended.

Long tubes paired with off-road H

Bought the street magnaflows and they sounded so quiet. Bought the LongTubes and off-road H and the car sounds completely different. Sounds like a real muscle car now.

    Attention grabber

I installed this h pipe along with Pypes long tube headers and Pype bomb tips. Gave it a nice deep tone, with a little bit of rasp at idle, hella loud at full throttle. It does have a pretty good drone at about 1800 rpm. Only issue I had was I needed to trim about an inch off the h pipe to keep the over the axle pipes from being pushed towards the rear end.

    Awesome!

Bought this H-Pipe with the Pypes long tube headers, coupled with Borla ATAKs on my 07 GT and all I can say is these things are amazing. The sound is deep and throaty especially at 3K RPM and up. At WOT these things could honestly wake the dead.

    Very satisfied

Everything you get in the box shows quality. I know design cost and manufacturing are involved in any product, but I feel the price we pay for this H-Pipe is a little on the high side for buying pipe even if it is pre bent and has attaching hardware. At least Pypes is not crazy expensive like some other brands. Would tell anyone to buy this H-Pipe with total confidence it will fit and work beyond your expectations.
