    Street or Strip. Powergrip HD sets are the ultimate for extreme street/strip Mustang performance. And if you are replacing your clutch it is also a good idea to replace or resurface your flywheel at the same time to prolong the life of your new Clutch.

    Superior Design. RAM Powergrip HD Mustang Clutch kits utilizes a proprietary 900 series friction material in conjunction with increased clamp load pressure plates, you get maximum holding power for track or street, with only minimal reduction in driveability.

    Application. The RAM Powergrip HD Clutch kits are the performance clutch for big power street/strip Mustangs. The Powergrip HD Mustang Clutch is designed for the 2005 to 2010 4.6L V8 Mustangs with a TR3650 manual transmission that have upgraded to a 26 spline input shaft, including the GT and Bullitt models.

    It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

    Technical Note. The GT500 came with a dual disc clutch from the factory, this RAM single disc clutch requires the use of RAM's billet steel or a nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheel for proper installation.     This product is much better than stock & a lot more reasonably priced

    The only complaint I have is there were a few bolts & dowell pins it didn't come with. Other than that i love the way it feels compared to the stock clutch

      Clutch replacement for 2008 GT500 Shelby Cobra

      Shop installed, they had issues with leaks after installation, but were able to fix without much trouble. This is a single dish vs a dual disc factory. Total cost $1500 vs $2500 to $3300 depending on who did the work and where the parts came from. Clutch depression a little bit more than the original clutch, but I can live with it. Used it for about 2 months and it holds up find. Would recommend it, if cost is an issue, I'm 68 and $3000 for a clutch just rubbed me the wrong way.

      This product is much better than stock & a lot more reasonably priced

      Great price great grip

      I neede a new clutch in my Shelby and this clutch was recommended. It requires a little more effort to engage, but the grip is amazing. Make sure you get the right flywheel, and make sure to get the extra bolts to get it done in one day.I had to make a trip to the parts store to pick up some bolts that were not included.
