Hey, what's going on guys? Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today, I'm bringing you a detailed overview of the Raxiom Tail Light Conversion Trim, fitting all '10 to '12 Mustangs. So, the Raxiom Tail Light Conversion Trim I have with me today is gonna be for the '10-to-'12 Mustang owner out there who's already converted their taillights to the '13-'14 styling and wants to get rid of that ugly gap between the bottom of the taillights and the top of the rear bumper. Now with that said, this trim will get that job done and make it look complete, like a later S197 model. So, it's been pretty popular to convert your '10-to-'12 taillights into your '13-'14 styling, but it leaves a little bit to be desired. Now, because of the two different stylings of the two different years, the '10 to '12 to '13-'14 taillight styling leaves a pretty noticeable gap between the bottom of the taillights and the top of the bumper. Now up until recently, you only had two options, now you either had to live with the gap if you already made the switch, or you had to purchase the Raxiom kit that came complete with the taillights and the trim for about 1,600 bucks. Now, if you've already purchased the taillights elsewhere, I doubt you really want to spend $1,600 on the full kit just to fill that gap. Luckily, Raxiom stepped up to the plate and released a Raxiom Tail Light Conversion Trim from the actual kit separately, just for the guys out there who picked up the taillights elsewhere and need to fill that gap without picking up the all-inclusive kit. So the Raxiom Tail Light Conversion Trim was manufactured out of a durable, injection-molded ABS plastic, all completed in a polished, gloss-black finish to match the finish of the '13-'14 taillights. Now, they were also backed with pre-applied 3M automotive bonding tape to make the installation extremely straightforward, which I'll touch on in just a minute. So price-wise, for the kit that you're seeing on the table with me today, you can expect to be spending just about 75 bucks, which in all honesty is a little bit high, but you want to take into consideration, if you did swap over the taillights without getting the all-inclusive kit from Raxiom, this is definitely gonna be a must to fill that eyesore of a gap between the taillights and the bumper, and it will make your backend look like it came from the '13-'14 from the factory. Now, jumping right on into the installation for the taillight trim, all you'll have to do is pop open your trunk and push the trunk liner out of the way, unbolt one of your taillights, and pull it just far enough out of the vehicle to apply that trim. Clean off the area you'll be applying it to, peel off the 3M tape backing, and stick it into place. Repeat that process for the opposite side and reinstall the taillights back into place the same way you took them out. Overall, about a half-hour's worth of time in the driveway at home and a very simple one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.Just to wrap things up, guys, if you're the owner of a '10 to '12 Mustang and you've already converted your taillights to the '13-'14 styling, and you're looking for an easy way to fill the gap between your taillights and your bumper, you might want to check out the Raxiom Tail Light Conversion Trim, which is of course available right here at americanmuscle.com.
