      Review & Installation Video

Hi everyone I’m Justin with and I’m taking a look at these OEM style replacement headlights for all 99-04 Mustangs. These lights feature the classic OEM styling with an aggressive black housing that never goes out of style. They’d be great for someone that wants to freshen up the front of your ride, without committing to a more radical aftermarket lens. The headlights are sold individually, so you have the option of picking up just the right or the left if you’d like, but your best bet would be to pick up both to really freshen up the front end. The headlights also include a dual element 9007 bulb, which covers both your high and low beams. Install is fairly straight forward and should take you about an hour using standard hand tools. Now when installing new headlights we always like to recommend that you aim them properly to make sure you’re getting the best vision possible without blinding oncoming traffic. If you need any help with this whatsoever you can always reference the install video located on this page. So if you want to make the front end of your New Edge Mustang look like new again, and you’re a fan of the old “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” original styling from Ford, then you’ll definitely want to check out these OEM style replacement headlights.

        3 2000 V6 - RikT Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Good replacement, but could be a lot better

I purchased the dark smoked headlights 12 years ago, and it was time to replace them because the sun had taken its toll on them. I remember those headlights being exactly like these. Overall, they look really good. Before installing I ran a bead of clear silicone along the edge to rule out any water intrusion down the road. Pros: Look good, original styling, great price. Cons: -Does not fit exactly like originals did, there is a gap at the body. -The glue holding the trim out of the box had failed and the trim was already peeling off. -Parts of the cardboard box stuck to where the adhesive was still wet on the headlights. Had to be careful not to damage my new lights when peeling that off. -Upgrade the bulbs before installing, the ones included are not bright at all.

        New lights

Looks better than original but kept the original look. Try to keep it original very pleased with the product and the price for the headlight assembly’s with the bulbs installed can’t be beat. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase if you are looking to keep it original and they are DOT approved. Gotta watch for that on some aftermarket lights.

        Nice Headlights

I put them on my 04 GT it looks really nice, the only thing that the one from the passenger side weather strip started to come out. I used a little glue and placed it back on and it looks nice on the car, like a new car.

      5 Top Rated Questions

So these Black Stock #49092's do not have a tint on the lens? They are the same crystal cleat lens as OE Style #42011 and the original OEM lights?

      • The Axial Black Stock Replacement Headlights boast that same OEM clean lens but with an aggressive black housing behind the lens to give your mustang a really tough look!

I have the Raxiom Smoked Projector Headlights and I can't see anything at night. Are these headlights bright, or should I upgrade the bulb?

      • These Axial Black Stock Replacement Headlights will indeed allow more light, allowing for more brightness. The reason being is anything listed as "smoked" will have a tint on the headlight. Since this is not smoked, it will not have a tint on the lens, and indeed will let more light through the lens leading to a more/brighter light relative to a smoked headlight with a similar bulb.

How do you adjust these headlights?

      • There are knobs on the back of the headlights that will allow you to adjust them.

Do these lights have 2 alignment screws, up and down adjustment and also the side to side adjustment screws? The current aftermarket lights that are on my Cobra only have a single screw adjusting up and down, nothing side to side. Had to shim to get rid of it being cross eyed.

      • Unfortunately, these headlights will only have one adjustment screw. The adjustment screw would allow you to adjust vertically.

do these come already sealed? are the headlights already sealed with automotive silicone? or is that something I would have to do after I bought them?

      • All of the lights are supposed to be sealed from the factory. The best practice is to put a bead of silicone along the entire edge of the light unit where the clear lense meets the body. My wife's 2013 Escape had to have a rear light unit replaced for condensation problems. This is the first thing I do for all my aftermarket lights I've purchased.

can these be adjusted vertically and horizontally? 1 answer
I see two previous questions asking about headlight adjustment. One states vertical and horizontal adjustment and the other states only vertical. In the images posted in the product description I see two adjustment areas one the top right and one in the bottom left. Most aftermarket headlights that I've seen only have the adjustment area in the top right. Can anyone confirm if these arrive with two adjustment areas and if they are both vertical and horizontally adjustable? 0 answer

Are these headlights like the OEM ones, where they fog up with age and get cruddy looking? I was looking for glass ones that won't have that aging of plastic headlights and wondering if these are glass ones. I'd love to make my 2002 Mustang look newer with these, but I just have to ask.
