      Roush Spoiler

Had to do some body work to it could've been packaged better. Put about 2 solid hrs to get it to look perfect. Besides that it fits like a glove, looks slick, directions as to where to drill holes where spot on.

      Good but not great

I bought the spoiler to replace the existing one on my 2006 mustang. The existing one was damaged at the threaded pin and could no longer be fasted to the trunk. The new one had extra plastic debris on the ends of the spoiler that had to be cut off in order to fit. In addition, the spoiler would not stay attached tot eh trunk at the ends and required additional screws. the spoiler mold does not appear to be good enough to account for the curve of the trunk lid. It is pretty pricey for simple plastic from an average mold not to mention that it does not come painted.

      Spoiler

Love the look. The mold that was used to make the spoiler could've been better. All edges had plastic where it looked as if it crept through the mold. Costed a little extra to have it all sanded down to a smooth finish before paint.

      Great Upgrade!

Was looking around for a while for a replacement for the original boring spoiler my pony had. Saw a couple of stiles installed on a few Stangs on the road and didn't like what I saw, until one day I saw the Roush Spoiler. It was love at first sight. I installed the spoiler and took it to a body shop, witch they charge me $200 for prep and paint. The installation kit is slight different, I guess the folks at Roush upgraded the 3M insulation to solid pieces. They don't show on the indtructions. No big deal, just by looking at the pattern you'll know how it goes. This is not only a look upgrade, but these spoiler works perfect also. My far handles better on high speeds, the wind flow and down force its noticeable. Thsnks again AM.!!!

      Looks great when finished!

This looks great when finished but plan to pay extra for prep work. The spoiler is blow molded so all the seams are rough and the spoiler itself feels more like a toy than a part for your car. It is thin plastic and hollow.

      Not Roush quality

This spoiler is extremely rough. It would have needed a ton of prep work to even have an ok finish put on it. It had no padded packaging inside the Roush box.( Not AM's fault) AM was extremely greatgas usual with customer service letting me return it and getting a completely different spoiler( the MMD ducktail) which was awesome and a lot cheaper. Maybe it was just a bad one but if they are all like the one I got, don't get this unless you want to spend a lot of time/ money finishing it. Get the ducktail!

      Nice spoiler

The spoiler adds a bold look to the Mustang. I was happy with the purchase. It did take a while to sand out molding defects, but looks great after painting. I highly recommend having a body shop paint and install the spoiler, unless you are very skilled at body/paint work. Be prepared to pay upwards from $350 for a decent body shop to paint and install it for you.

      Paper template

The spoiler looks fantastic and for the most part the instructions were well written, but the paper template does not seem to match up perfectly with the existing factory spoiler hole. This can throw off alignment, especially the side pieces, AND ROUSE NEEDS TO CLEAN UP EDGES ON SPOILER BEFORE SHIPMENT . A lot of sanding!!

      Another GREAT Product from AM!

Bought this Rousch rear spoiler to replace my original one. I am absolutely stoked with this product. The body shop that painted and installed it said it was fairly easy. The end result is a nice upgrade from the original. Another great purchase from my favorite Mustang supplier, American Muscle!

Great looking part but terrible right out of the box

I love this part and how it looks after completion. Although, out of the box it was very rough and cost me $$$ at the shop to smooth out the edges; it was not something I could take out of the box, paint, and install. Mediocre template but went on pretty smooth. After its all said and done it looks mean on the back of the Mustang. Definitely a great looking finished product.

Roush Rear Wing Spoiler looks great

I buy a lot of mods for my 2008 from American Muscle. I have never been disappointed in their products, that is, until now. They did ship the spoiler fast and it was packaged well. I took it over to my local body shop for painting and installation. When they looked at it, we all saw that a lot of prep work was going to be needed. The mold lines were jagged and excessive. After getting it sanded, painted and installed, my additional cost was $375, so you might want to also add that factor in if you decided to purchase this spoiler. After all is said and done, the spoiler does look great on my car and I've received numerous compliments!

Great wing, but a little trouble with the templates

This wing arrived pretty fast with free two day shipping, and it looked great! Mine didn't have any major imperfections on it like some other people were saying, aside from the plastic frills throughout the wing pieces where the two pieces of plastic are joined together. The bodyshop I took the wing to wasn't able to completely remove those frills but it still looks absolutely wonderful and I had it color matched to my Windveil Blue 08 GT for $300. Now, lets talk about the installation. My car came with a factory rear wing so those pre-drilled holes aided immensely with lining everything up as the center piece was pretty much ready go from the start (besides the two outer holes for that piece). Those two outer holes for the center trunk piece are dangerously close the the hinge mechanism for the trunk and I actually touched both of them with the drill bit I used but they still work fine, so watch out for that. Also, the allen bolts that come for those two outer holes are WAY too short, so I had to make a trip to my local hardware store to get some metric M6 -1.00 bolts that were 20mm long along with some washers. I highly recommend picking up some black 3M "extreme" mounting tape and using that for the center piece instead of the tape the wing comes with, although either way the bolts should hold the wing just fine. It's just for piece of mind. The outer winglet pieces were a PITA to line up correctly and I had to re-drill some more holes near my first attempt ones to get them to line up. I don't know if the templates themselves were off but all of my holes were way off even after careful alignment Also, it was very hard to tighten the bolts being that they are in an odd place but once I put some blue locktite on there and manned up, I got it done. The end result after all the hard work? The wing looks very stunning and changed the look of the entire car. I bought the wing for looks, but I can't wait to take it for a drive to see if I actually feel a difference like some others have said. I know I will be getting more compliments on the car though!

      Roush Spoiler

Bought my car with this already on it but figured I'd give my opinion on it to help others decide on it. First off, this has got to be the most attractive thing on the entire car. It completely makes the car 10x better. It fits perfect, looks perfect, holding on perfect. I get all kinds of thumbs up everywhere with this spoiler. I recommend it to everyone.
