Hey, guys. Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Roush pre-painted quarter window louvers, available for all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs. In this video, I'll be going over the styling and appearance you can expect from the Roush quarter window louvers you see here today, as well as all the materials and construction. I'll top the video off with the install, and I'll let you know up front here, it will get a very simple one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, simply because it will be a peel and stick application, and not require any drilling. The Roush pre-painted quarter window louvers will be for any '05 to '14 Mustang owner, who might be looking to pick up a nostalgic feel for the exterior of their S-197. Now, to get this exterior styling, you're really paying homage to those '60s and '70s classic muscle cars, which had these or similar to these quarter window louvers on their own body style. Now, this one offers, from Roush, that three-window styling on each one of the louvers for both sides of your Mustang, and they're even offered in a pre-painted finish. The option we have here is a Grabber Blue. But you'll have your choice on the site to select from any of the factory colors listed for the '05 to '14 generations, just to give it a little more customization for your own ride. So obviously, you would expect a pretty high-quality part from a big name like Roush. Now, this one, obviously, is going to be no different from that aspect, and it does give you a really high-quality exterior window louver for your quarter windows on the S-197. Now, it does have that aftermarket feel with the certain design here, but it still blends in with the body style of the '05 to '14, which is pretty unique for an aftermarket part that can both look aftermarket, but still look like it could've come from the factory. It almost kind of confuses the people looking at your car. It's like, "That's really cool, but I don't know if it's aftermarket or stock. Or I don't know if it's a Roush Edition Mustang." But either way, this is definitely a high-quality part. Obviously, there's two big things about this part that offer something different than some of the other options out there. Number one is, it's pre-painted. Number two is the install is a peel and stick, no drilling required. Two good things here. Install, I'll touch on in just a second. But the pre-painted finish, as you can see, this is a Grabber Blue paint job, which looks identical to the factory Grabber Blue color code, which is definitely what we're going for here with the AM paint booth. This is all painted right here, in house, at the American Muscle paint booth, and we use all the factory paint coats. So if you're looking for a Grabber Blue, you can select that on the product page on the American Muscle website, and then you'll get a Grabber Blue right out of the box, like this one. If you're looking for Torch Red, or whatever color you may be looking for of that generation, that's definitely an option available on the site. As far as materials and construction goes, this is manufactured out of an OEM-quality material, constructed from an ultradurable, high-impact, ABS plastic. Obviously, you get the color of your choice on the front, and black on the back. Now, obviously, if you're not a big fan of the black on the back and you're afraid of people seeing it through the spokes... Which I highly, highly doubt they will. But you can also get the matte black window cover that's available on the site as well, to black out the inside so people can't really see that it's not painted underneath. As far as the pricing goes for the pre-painted option for Roush, you're looking at spending about $200, which in my personal opinion is a price to be expected. Some of the other options out there go unpainted for about $200, so you do save a little bit of money with the Roush option and, in my opinion, you get a higher quality in some cases. Now, with this particular option here, if you did want to go with the matte black blackout for the windows, for the underneath, that'll be another $25, and you can find that on the site as well. As far as the installation goes, this one is extremely straightforward. It will use 3M automotive bonding tape. I do want to stress the automotive part. This is specifically made to hold parts onto your Mustang. So if you're thinking to yourself, "Oh, it's just tape holding this thing on," it's really, really durable and it is specifically made for automotive applications. This thing will hold on the side of your car if you do it correctly. Now, what I mean by "if you do it correctly," is it will require you to use some alcohol wipes, just to clean off the surface on both the back of the Roush scoops, and on the surface you'll be applying it to around the windows. This will free it of all dirt and dust, and make sure the tape can get a good bonding and will stick as long as you want it to stay there. Obviously, if you wanted to remove them at any time to change up the exterior look, a heat gun will do the trick and they'll pop right off. Until then, the 3M tape will do a perfect job holding them on, and you'll just line it up and cut it to spec on each side of the louver. Pop them into place, and you're good to go. Overall, it will get one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, and I'd say it shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of an '05 to '14 Mustang, and you're looking for a way to pick up a nostalgic, classic muscle car look for the exterior appearance of your own S-197, you might be looking at some quarter window louvers. In the case of pre-painted options, the Roush quarter window louver you see here today is a great choice, and it's available right here at americanmuscle.com.
