    Review & Install Video

Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out the RTR rear spoiler fitting all 2010 and newer Mustangs. This special edition RTR Mustang was the creation of professional drifting madman Vaughn Gittin Jr. By adding some track inspired parts such as this aluminum spoiler, he was able to create a Mustang that look like it was ready to rock at any given moment. The first thing you’ll notice right away when looking at this spoiler is that it’s made from lightweight, durable aluminum which is very unique. Usually you’ll see urethane or fiberglass spoilers but not many aluminum. That fact combined with the nice powder coated black finish makes for a very attractive package. As you can see, when installed, the spoiler sits pretty low profile on the rear of the car, of course it has enough rake or angle to give the rear a more aggressive look versus your factory spoiler, but it’s not as high as some of the other options available, making it a great choice for the less is more crowd. If your Mustang did come equipped with a factory spoiler then you’ll be glad to learn that this new RTR spoiler will install using those existing factory holes, which means no drilling, that’s always a good thing. On the other hand, if your car did not come equipped with a factory spoiler, then you will need to drill into your trunk lid using the included template. Obviously your install time will vary depending on your situation, so we’ll call it anywhere between an hour or two, just to be on the safe side. So if you’re looking to complete the total RTR package on your ride or you just dig the clean subtle lines this spoiler has to offer, then you’ll want to check out the RTR aluminum rear spoiler available right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Ready To Rock! This is the same exact rear wing spoiler that is included as original equipment on the Vaughn Gittin Jr. "RTR" - Ready to Rock special edition Ford Mustang. The RTR rear spoiler features aggressive race inspired styling, making it the perfect addition to your modern muscle car.

Direct Bolt On. The RTR spoiler Designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement to your Mustangs factory spoiler, so there is no additional body work or holes to be drilled or filled for installation.

Quality Aluminum Construction. Constructed from light weight aluminum for weight savings, this RTR rear spoiler is completed in a black powder coated finish for impressive styling.

Application. This RTR Rear Wing Spoiler is the perfect appearance upgrade for all 2010 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Boss and Shelby GT500 models.

      Simple but aggressive

Love the way it looks and fits. I didnt realize it uses it's own nuts and washers on install. Left them at home in the bottom of the box when I put it on. 3m tape held it on the slow drive home to fasten it. Stock nuts are to big.

      Great Spoiler!!

Installing this spoiler couldn't be easier. Just as all spoiler reviews I've read, the most time consuming part is removing the original spoiler. The original double sided tape is all over the stock spoiler. I parked my car in the sun for about an hour to soften up the original double sided tape. This actually helped a lot in the removal process. I recommend running a small bead of black RTV silicon sealer around the studs of the new spoiler and also around the other three remaining [unused] holes to make sure there are no water leaks. Do this from the underside of the deck lid, prior to re-installing the inner liner. New spoiler looks great and is very well made. Couldn't be happier. Thanks American Muscle!

      So Smooth!

This is a great product and the look it provides is sleek and aggressive! Easy, fast install... majority of install time was old spoiler removal. Install took less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended!

      Great Look !

Very easy to install. I didn't have a factory spoiler already, so drilling a couple of hours into my trunk was a little intimidating, but the template worked like a charm.

      READY to ROCK Rear Spoiler

This product is awesome! Installation was about two hours, or so, taking my time. Removal of the old wing took all of the time. I used plastic trim tools to lift and block as I sliced through the adhesive with a thin sandwich spread knife - this was after removing the four nuts in the trunk. I rolled most of the adhesive off with my fingers and finished the removal with Goo Gone. The prep, per instructions, and install took ten minutes max. The fit and finish is excellent.

      The Bomb!

I can't tell you how many compliments I've received on the streets of Los Angeles with this RTR spoiler. It came right on time, and not a scratch on it. It took less than 15 minutes to install. And btw, everyone is amazed that it's not fiberglass. Great product.

      Do you wanna look mean?

This adds to the over all look of the car, and makes other mustang owners come up and ask, wow what spoiler is that? This thing was so easy to install if you have a factory spoiler just remove the trunk trim, unbolt 4 bolts, and then what I did was used a heat gun to warm up the two way tape, (not too hot it fouls damage the paint) then I took 30 pound fishing line, and cut the tape, once the stock spoiler was removed I cleaned off the excess tape, and then mounted the rtr spoiler. Easy install for a hard a** look.

      Sharp!

This is in my opinion the top of the line spoiler out there. It is made out of a very durable aluminum, and is quite thin. It give any car a sharp, aftermarket apperance. It is not made out of any cheap materials and is worth what you spend for it. I never expected for any spoiler to look as nice as this one does. Fits on very well, with a few screws and high grade adhesive. I would recommend this product to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY! well worth it!

      Nice piece

The installation of this part was about as easy as it gets. Be careful removing the stock spoiler because not only is it bolted to the deck lid, it is also adhered using two sided tape. Be sure to thoroughly clean the surface before you stick the new one on. Oh, don't over torque the attachment studs and put some old fashion dum dum on the stud before you put on the stud nut. Love the look.

      Really looks great.

Really easy to install and is the best looking and performing rear spoiler available. Will be much more durable than the plastic ones...I had it painted body color to match the black car.

Great fit and finish. Worth every penny

I installed this spoiler on my 2011 GT. The hardest part is getting off the stock unit and the tape. Once the deck was ready, it was a matter of a few minutes to get this installed. Great quality and look. Solid construction since it's solid aluminum. Looks awesome on the car. Everybody likes it.

      Looks great, bad install

Looks great except for one end was bent in or not cut to the right size. So one side of the spolier looked obviously different from the other. I had to bend it back to get it to even come close. I used the included template to drill the holes in the trunk lid and they came out too close together. I was very careful and used the template accurately but they were simply in the wrong position. I had to make the drill hole very big and oval it out on both sides to get it to fit. Took two and a half hours with me and my buddy. Once on the car and adjusted it looks great though.

Sorry to hear you had difficulty using the supplied template to install this spoiler. You did mention you bent part of the spoiler back to the way it should have been upon receipt. If it is still not 100%, please give our Customer Service a call. We want to make sure you don't have a defective part installed on your Mustang!

      Looks Great

This spoiler looks fantastic on my 5.0. My only complaint is that it does not use the factory spoiler holes and requires drilling. I took it to the local performance shop and they did the work for me, but it was an extra cost that could have been avoided with better engineering.

      RTR spoiler

Easy bolt on installation. Comes with all necessary hardware and bolts into the stock spoiler location. It takes about 5 times more effort to remove the old spoiler and double sided tape and get everything nice and clean then it does to put the new stuff on. If you have a trunk with no spoiler it comes with a template to drill into the trunk. The only faults I found with this spoiler was that there was a chip in the finish on the driver's side and one of the parts where the 10mm bolts goes was a little bent. I'm sure that happened during shipping, but I did not notice those issues until it came time to install. Overall, great product, sets of the car a lot, and it looks great.
