    Dyno-proven Rear Wheel Gains. Get the most power out of your 5.0 coyote with a SLP Long Tube Header and catted X-Pipe combo kit. These SLP ceramic coated headers replace your restrictive factory manifolds to improve exhaust flow and increase your Pony's horsepower and torque. Increases of up to 28 RWHP and 27 RWTQ have been seen when installed with the included SLP shorty X-Pipe.

    Aluminum Ceramic Coating. SLP uses a durable Aluminum Ceramic Coating (inside and out) on its long tube headers to reduce under hood temperatures, increase horsepower, lengthen the headers life, and for it's outstanding good looks. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both polished and chrome plated headers.

    Made In The USA. Hand-crafted right here in the U.S.A from 1-3/4" CNC mandrel bent stainless steel tubing, these SLP Long Tube Mustang Exhaust headers have a 4-into-1 design that merge into 3" collectors. The collectors feature an integrated venturi-style spike to optimize exhaust flow, resulting in a monster increase of horsepower.

    High Flow Cats. The included SLP Mid Pipe uses CNC mandrel-bent 3" stainless steel tubing with a genuine X style crossover for a raspy race car sound and features a pair of 3" 200 cell per inch high-flow catalytic converters to provide a significant horsepower increase over the restrictive factory catted pipes.

    Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that this Header and X-Pipe combo kit has to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a Bama custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for proper operation.

    Application. This SLP long tube header and matching catted X-Pipe combo kit is specifically designed for the 2011 to 2014 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4-valve 5.0L coyote engine.     Will this pass emissions inspection in Pennsylvania

    • The SLP long tube headers and catted shorty x-pipe will not be CARB certified, which means it is not 50 state legal. These are not legal for pollution controlled vehicles and are to be used off-road only. We recommend to check with your local ordinances about this product.

    2013 BOSS 302 Laguna Seca Is this system compatible with a 2013 BOSS 302 L. Seca? And is it compatible with the Flowmaster Outlaw Series Axle Back Kit?

    • The SLP Ceramic Long Tube Headers and Catted Shorty X-pipe (11-14 GT) will work just fine with a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 Leguna Seca model and will be compatible with any aftermarket or factory axle back system.

      Not really worth it

      First off, I love the sound! It sounds great, and I can feel a little difference in power. Overall though the product was not what I was expecting... For what your paying for everything you get should work and fit properly. The bolts didn't work. My dad and I ended up cutting them so they would work. The o2 extensions for the sensors also didn't work at all. From the headers back we ran into a bunch of problems with it all not fitting up properly. If I were to get this again (which I most likely wouldn't) I would have someone install it for me and I would look into some decent extensions and bolts.

      Great Product, very loud!

      Great product, all pipes fit perfect. Had some issues with the supplied header bolts, i would go down to a local hardware store and get more because they only give you 11 bolts and i personally would like all 16 to match. Everything looks good under the car and it is very loud, huge performance gains over stock. Mine is mounted up to the Loud Mouth axle-backs. Sounds like a race car. Instructions are good but lack pictures in my opinion. Be careful when taking off and replacing your steering shaft, as i ran into some issues. I would definitely buy again but probably would pay someone to install them for me!

      Needs some work, but still awesome!

      For a full read review search the AFM forums. Be warned, the kit did not simply "bolt on" out of the box, but this is somewhat expected for a such a big install. We did need to get shorter manifold bolts for the headers to install, the stock bolts would not clear (Even though the instructions say to use the stock bolts). The O2 extensions left an open circuit fault and I ended up splicing them into the original harnesses (The extension connectors would not mate completely and thus the O2 heater would not work). And the entire exhaust has some serious clearance issues as it goes down the line. This is expected though from any exhaust 3" or bigger though. To stop all the banging around, we had to use a pry bar and re-bend some pipe a little. It still clangs off the rear axle on rough bumps from time to time, but that is because my car is lowered 2". If you are not lowered, you won't have this problem. I have had the kit installed for about a week now and just kept the stock axlebacks. The car does sound louder, deeper and meaner now. It pops on deceleration too. Was definitely worth the experience, but only if you are willing to jump through some hoops a bit.
