Engineered for Smoother Performance. This clutch kit features an altered pressure plate fulcrum, which is designed for faster shifting and positive clutch engagement. But the real star of the show is the dual damped disc clutch that comes with hybrid friction materials. On the disc surface facing the flywheel, a feramic or sintered iron compound is used, while the pressure-plate side is a combination of metallic and organic elements. As a result, you get vibration-free operation, even at higher RPMs.
Installation Reminder. Installing the South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Endurance Clutch on your Mustang is not for beginners or even intermediate-level mechanics. A professional installer is recommended to prevent costly damages to your transmission and other components.
