These front rotors are engineered to deliver the maximum braking power for your vehicle. This is achieved by combining enhanced thermal management with efficient brake dust expulsion and improved structural integrity. The result is a set of brake rotors that provides reliable performance in both race and street applications for years.
Robust Build Quality. These brake rotors start out as cast iron blanks that are then machine-ground and precision-balanced to its final OEM-grade form. This construction optimizes strength while ensuring an accurate fit. Additionally, these rotors are plated in tough black zinc for optimal rust protection and an aggressive look.
Vented Build with Exclusive Diamond Slotted Design. These vented rotors get their impressive performance via exclusive diamond slotted design. This design consists of curved directional slots and diamond-shaped dimples that work to expel brake dust and outgassing away from the rotor surface more efficiently. This provides a wider surface area for the brake pad to work while also helping out the vents with brake cooling. Moreover, the slots and dimples are CNC-machined in a manner that creates chamfering, which eliminates the chances of cracking.
Professional Installation Recommended. These SP Performance rotors will not require any modifications to your Mustang prior to installation. You will need a disc brake runout gauge in order to install these parts correctly. Also, you will require a wheel alignment after installation. If you do not have a runout gauge and do not intend to purchase one, professional installation is always an option.
