    Protects Your Investment. When replacing your clutch you have two options: resurfacing your old flywheel, or getting a new flywheel. Most times, getting a new flywheel is better than resurfacing, as the flywheel will dictate how well your clutch will perform, as well as how long it will last.

    SFI Certified. If you're using this flywheel in high performance or racing applications, SFI Certification is critical so you can run your Pony at the track or strip. And it's great for peace of mind even in a daily driver - at higher RPMs, stock cast flywheels have been known to explode.

      Flywheel

      Performs well, like a flywheel should. Easy to install when installing a new clutch, didn’t come with the correct dowels tho to go with my spec clutch. My car is much more rev happy with the lighter aluminum flywheel compared to the previous steel flywheel. Would definitely buy again

      nice addition

      I swapped out my clutch and flywheel. Right away I noticed a big difference. Quicker catch softer pedal hardest thing top get use to was the need to rev higher for first gear to get a clean start. And you can feel more power to the wheel. The weight difference between this and stock is like night and day.

      Very Awesome

      Ok on this review I have alot to say.... First- GO ALUMINUM...! stock weight is 47.2 lbs and thats everything clutch ,disk and flywheel the aluminum is 39.2 with everything...8lbs difference and I researched a ton, and alot of people dissing the aluminum, saying its not good for street and you'll have to rev it up to shift and blah blah blah, well I have had it in for two days and its just what I thought, its awesome, shifting is way better no revving on upshifting or down shifting and the best part is its instantly in the rpm range when you get on it...especially from 3rd or 4th gear doing 40 0r 50 mph and stomping on it, no more lag from the heavy flywheel....I heard so much bad about aluminum that I had to speak up on this....its very cool ...Now the bad about aluminum....not what you might think.....more noise inside of car, but not bad, and you have to get your crankshaft sensor relearned anytime you change flywheels or you get code P0300 or P0304 or P0000 all from changing flywheel, but other than that its awesome...I wish when we buy this kind of stuff that people would tell us about what to expect on codes or any little secrets, instead of driving down the road and freaking when the light comes on....but all in all very good product...! 2012 5.0
