The Best of Both Worlds. The Spec Stage 2+ Clutch is the ideal upgrade for GT500 Mustangs that are not just for street driving, but not quite full-blown race competitors. In other words, Spec Stage 2+ Clutches still gives your Mustang an easy everyday ride, but can take on competition-level driving in a jiffy.

Handles More Power With Ease. The Spec Stage 2+ Clutch is designed for engines that have undergone some modifications and is now running at higher torque capacity. Specifically, the Stage 2+ Clutch can handle up to 669 ft./lbs. of torque – much more than the Stage 2 clutch but with the same smooth engagement. Please note that Spec Stage 2+ Clutches require a new flywheel.

SFI-Approved Clutches. Like other Spec performance clutches, the Stage 2+ Clutch is SFI approved. So you can take your Mustang around a track without worrying about clutch failure.

Tough Build Quality. The Spec Stage 2+ Clutch is a full face disc with a Kevlar friction material on one side and a carbon graphite friction material on the other. The disc’s high-torque sprung hub helps lower excess vibration, while a high clamp pressure plate provides the right amount of pressure necessary for higher performance driving. Finally, clutch components are heat-treated for superior strength and durability.
