Description
Engine Rotating Assembly. The Speedmaster 393 Cubic Inch Forged Rotating Assembly Kit with a 3.905-inch bore is engineered to upgrade or rebuild your engine using high-performance forged components. This kit includes all essential rotating parts necessary to build or enhance a 393ci LS1 engine, designed for both street and racing applications, ensuring strength and durability to handle increased horsepower demands while maintaining engine reliability and improved performance.
Construction and Appearance. The crankshaft and pistons utilize high-quality forged materials for superior strength and wear resistance. The crankshaft is precision-machined in the USA and features heat treatment, shot peening, micro-polishing, and nitriding to enhance durability and balance. Connecting rods are crafted from 4340 chromoly steel with an H-beam design optimized for strength in street and strip use. Pistons are forged 4032 aluminum alloy, lightweight, featuring a flat top design with two valve reliefs for efficient combustion.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no additional drilling or modifications. The kit is manufactured to tight tolerances, allowing a direct fit into compatible engines.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 12-month limited worldwide warranty for quality assurance.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1997-2004 Corvette C5 models, excluding the Z06 variant, matching the engine configurations and specifications for these vehicles.
