Description
Performance Pistons. The Speedmaster Chevy LS2 Flat Top Forged Pistons with a 4.005-inch bore are engineered to enhance engine durability and performance in naturally aspirated or moderate nitrous applications. These pistons minimize piston-to-wall clearance, promoting quieter operation and increased strength under stress. They are an essential upgrade for anyone rebuilding or enhancing their LS2 engine with reliable, lightweight pistons.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-quality 4032 forged aluminum alloy, these pistons are up to 20% lighter than traditional forged pistons. The flat top design includes two valve reliefs and a smooth finish to support efficient combustion and optimal engine performance. The precise forging process eliminates harmful stress concentrations, delivering superior strength and long-lasting durability.
Installation. Installing these pistons requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling. Proper installation includes using rail spacer supports (PCE308.1015) to ensure a precise and secure fit within the engine assembly.
Warranty. These pistons come with a 12-month limited worldwide warranty. Application. Specifically designed to fit the 05-07 6.0L Corvette C6 engine configuration.
