Description
Adjustable Rear Tie Rod Ends. The SPL Parts Bumpsteer Adjustable Rear Tie Rod Ends relocate the tie rod end pivot point to eliminate bump steer caused by suspension modifications such as lowered stance or changed caster angles. This adjustment improves rear suspension geometry, enhancing stability and handling for racing and spirited driving.
Construction and Appearance. These tie rod ends use CNC machined 9310 alloy shanks rated at 190ksi tensile strength for durability in racing and drifting conditions. They include stainless steel spacers, black anodized 2024-T351 aluminum alloy turnbuckles for a strong yet lightweight build, and Teflon lined FK high misalignment bearings to ensure smooth movement without binding.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required. These components directly replace stock parts and allow precise adjustment to correct suspension geometry. Basic mechanical skills and common tools are all that is needed.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 97-13 Corvette C5 & C6.
